Hi, everyone! Peaceandlove67 here, and I'm going to write an articolo on my superiore, in alto thirty preferito bands. These are bands I've listened to since I was a little kid. So, without further ado, here is my list!
30. U2
U2 has been one of my preferito bands since I was ten years old. I like their style, and I really Amore Bono's voice. It's very unique. The Edge is among my preferito guitarists of all time. He is just amazing. My preferito U2 song is "With o Without You." It really shows off Bono's vocal range. It has great lyrics, too.
29. Weezer
Weezer is among my preferito 90's bands. I Amore a lot of their songs. I think my preferito album has to be Pinkerton. It's the only album where I cannot pick a preferito song. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd probably pick "El Scorcho."
28. Pearl Jam
I've only been a Pearl marmellata fan since the late 2000's, when their song, "Just Breathe," came out. I liked the song, and I decided to look up other songs. I found the songs on their album, Ten, and I liked them better. I think my preferito Pearl marmellata song is "Jeremy." I know it's sad, but it has a lot of realism in it, and I'm a big fan of realism, being that I'm a realist.
27. Green giorno (pre-American Idiot)
I'm not a fan of any Green giorno song written after American Idiot. Don't get me wrong, American Idiot was an okay album, but everything after it is TERRIBLE. I really prefer their pre-America Idiot songs, especially the songs from Dookie. Dookie was their best album, and then the went downhill.
26. Metallica
Metallica has one of the best band names in my opinion. Never has a band been più appropriately named. My personal preferito album is Ride the Lightning. I also really like Master of Puppets. My preferito Metallica songs are "Fade to Black," because it makes me feel better when I'm sad, "One," because it shows the damage that war causes, and "Orion," because who says a song needs words to speak to its listener?
25. REO Speedwagon
I've only recently gotten into REO Speedwagon. However, upon hearing "Take it on the Run," I immediately fell in Amore with those Illinois rockers. I felt a connection with them when I learned they were from Illinois, (I'm originally from Illinois myself).
24. The Offspring
Yet another one of my preferito 90's bands! The Offspring has a great sound to them, and I Amore all of their songs. I think my preferito song da them is "Come Out and Play." The sound of that song is amazing.
23. Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden is an amazing group. I Amore Bruce Dickinson's voice. My preferito song da them is "Run to the Hills." I can't even reach that note. "Run to the hills. Run for your life." I squeak at that part. I have never been able to sing that song, not even when I first started listening to them at the age of nine.
22. Stone Temple Pilots
I didn't really get into STP until I was about fourteen. Still, I cried my eyes out when Scott Weiland passed away. It was the first time I cried over a musician's death. My preferito STP song is "Interstate Amore Song." It's such a fun song to play on guitar.
21. Foreigner
I have been a Foreigner fan since I was in the third grade. My third grade teacher was a huge Foreigner fan. After class was over, she would often sing "I Want to Know What Amore Is." I later looked it up. Sometimes she would randomly sing "Hot Blooded." My preferito Foreigner song is "Double Vision." It's such a fun song to play on guitar. I also really like "Jukebox Hero." That's another fun song to play on guitar.
20. The Allman Brothers Band
Of course, I had to include this band! Their sound is just amazing! To me, they were among the bands that defined classic rock. They existed in the giorno when people actually PLAYED their instruments. I will take real Musica over that auto tune crap any day! Anyway, my preferito song da the Allman Brothers Band is "Ramblin' Man."
19. Lynyrd Skynyrd
Their sound is just amazing. I think their best song is "Free Bird." I feel like that song describes my life. I really like how they got their name. Apparently, they got it from their gym teacher, Leonard Skinner, who punished the boys because of their long hair. They became one of the best bands of all time. Take that, Mr. Skinner!
18. Rush
I have been a fan of Rush since I was eleven. When learning to basso lines to their songs, I struggled a little bit. They sound simple, but they're really not, and it made me appreciate Geddy Lee even more. I think my preferito Rush song is "Red Barchetta." I don't know why. It's just such a great song.
17. Chicago
Chicago isn't one of the best-selling artists for nothing. They're really amazing. I know all of their songs. I Amore their sound. I also felt a connection to them, because they're from Illinois, (same as with REO Speedwagon).
16. furgone, van Halen
I've been a furgone, van Halen fan since I started walking. I Amore the sound of their band. I was once asked, "When te die, what song do te want played at your funeral?" I jokingly said, "I would like 'Running With the Devil' da furgone, van Halen to be played." I then had to reassure the person that I was only joking. I've loved that song for a long, long time.
15. Deep Purple
Deep Purple is an insultingly underrated rock band. If te ask a bunch of people to name as many classic rock bands as they could, very few would say Deep Purple. To many people, "Smoke on the Water" is their only song. Trust me, it's not. What about "Child in Time" and "Hush"? They're great songs, too.
14. Radiohead
Oh, my God! Radiohead is amazing! I Amore Thom Yorke's voice. I think my preferito song is "Paranoid Android." I also really like "Karma Police" and "Creep."
13. Judas Priest
I have been a fan of Judas Priest since I was twelve. Their sound is amazing. I Amore playing their songs on guitar. I think my preferito Judas Priest song is "Breaking the Law." It has an amazing sound to it.
12. Def Leppard
Def Leppard is just amazing! I Amore their sound! They have one of the best drummers of all time, Rick Allen. He is amazing! He has one arm, but he can play the drums well! I could listen to his drumming all day.
11. REM
REM was awesome! I Amore and know all of their songs da heart. I was upset when they broke up, but I guess all good things come to an end sooner o later. My preferito REM song is "Everybody Hurts." Whenever I'm feeling down, I listen to this song, and it reminds me that I'm not alone and that everybody hurts.
10. Led Zeppelin
I have been a fan of Led Zeppelin for as long as I can remember. Led Zeppelin was among the first bands I listened to. I Amore Robert Plant's voice. I can't sing much of Led Zeppelin's songs. I don't have that kind of range. I never did. I think my preferito Led Zeppelin song is "Black Dog." It has one of the best riffs of all time.
9. Eagles
The Eagles were also among the first bands I listened to. They had a great sound and great vocal harmonies. My preferito Eagles song is "Peaceful, Easy Feeling." It's a beautiful song. I cried over Glenn Frey's death. Since he died, I burst into tears ever time I heard an Eagles song, especially if it's a song where he sang the lead.
8. Jimi Hendrix Experience
How could I not mention this band?! Jimi Hendrix was a legend. He was gone too soon. If he had lived past twenty-seven, I think he would have dato so much più to music. No guitarist has surpassed him.
7. Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac is another one of the bands I grew up listening to. I've been a fan for as long as I can remember. I think my preferito Fleetwood Mac song is "Rhiannon." I Amore the lyrics to that song.
6. Alice in Chains
My preferito grunge band! They're just amazing! I Amore their sound, and I especially Amore their songs with Layne Staley. My preferito AIC song is "Man in the Box." It has a great sound and great lyrics. It's just really amazing.
5. Motorhead
Motorhead is perhaps my preferito heavy metal band. Lemmy was a legend. I cried my eyes out when he died. He may have been rough around the edges, but those who knew him detto he was actually a nice guy. He never turned down a fan. My only regret as a fan, I never saw them live. My preferito song is "Ace of Spades." One has not lived until one has heard "Ace of Spades."
4. Queen
I would be crazy to not include Queen on my list. Freddie Mercury's voice was phenomenal. He is definitely on my lista of best male vocalists. Queen had so many good songs, but my preferito would have to be "Bohemian Rhapsody." I attempted to sing it, and of course, I failed. I didn't even come close to reaching that really high note. It's an amazing song.
3. Yes
Yes is another insultingly underrated rock band. How can anyone not like Yes?! They're amazing! How many bands do te know that can write songs like "Roundabout," "Owner of a Lonely Heart," o "I've Seen All Good People"? I don't know too many bands that can come close.
2. Red Hot Chili Peppers
This band is just amazing! Their songs are brilliant, and I feel like I experience something new every time I listen to them. My preferito song is "Scar Tissue." It has brilliant lyrics and an epic chitarra solo, the main things I look for in a song. Another one of my preferito songs is "Shallow Be Thy Game." Although One Hot minuto was not their most popolare album, it is among my favorites. I think it's a good album, but that's me. I like listening to that album when I'm feeling down.
1. The Beatles
It would be an insult to not put these lovable lads from Liverpool at number one. There has never been a band like them before, and there will never be one after. No offense to One Direction fans, but I have to say this. One Direction is not the new Beatles. One Direction is not the new Beatles. One Direction is NOT THE NEW BEATLES!!!!
