MYX /ˈmɪks/, stylized as myx, is a Filipino cable Televisione network based in Quezon City, Philippines. It is targeted to youth audiences with Musica video as its primary content, a strategy reminiscent of the early days of MTV. It was introduced via Studio 23 (now ABS-CBN Sports+Action) in 2000, ABS-CBN's UHF broadcast Televisione network which offered some of its programs during early morning, afternoon and late evening blocks. In 2002, MYX was launched as a stand-alone 24-hour Musica channel on cable.
The network is also known for mostrare the lyrics on the Musica video which was adapted from karaoke, a popolare hobby in Asia.[2] An American counterpart known as Myx TV was later created to cater the Asian-American youth community in United States.
