Jill Morelli (Julie Gonzalo), a tabloid journalist is attempting to expose a plane crash that was actually organised da Division. Division responds da killing her boss and frames her for the murder. Nikita intervenes da rescuing Jill, and together, they agree to expose the story. They get into contact with the source, whom they meet and see the video mostrare Division agents on site of the crash. However, Michael leads a team to their location and kill the source. Alex secretly alerts local police to the area, who arrest Jill while Nikita takes down the Division agents. Jill is able to expose the story, and another Division operation fails. Meanwhile, Michael and Percy believe Birkhoff is leaking information to Nikita (not knowing it is actually Alex). After he is interrogated da Amanda (Melinda Clarke), they discover a tracker on one of his teeth. In the end, Nikita asks Alex to find another way to cover her tracks.

Percy and Michael agree to protect Slavic leader Mirko Dadich, who has been exiled from country for war crimes, in exchange that Division get their hands on uranium he has possession of. Alex is activated early to entertain the leader during his stay in America. As Nikita attempts to take out Dadich, he is kidnapped da a group of mercenaries headed da the daughter of the lead scientist responsible for Dadich's nuclear programme. Both Nikita and Division discover their location in a New York Subway station in order to get the GPS device to locate the uranium. During the firefight between Division and the mercenaries, Nikita steals the GPS device and destroys it. No longer useful, Michael kills Dadich. Flashbacks reveal Nikita meeting Alex a anno previously; Nikita saved Alex from drug dealers and helps her through detox before training her.

The story centers on a secret organization known as Division. A group of terrorists attack a bus filled with Division recruits and kidnap Alex and Thom, who are both unaware that the attack is a test orchestrated da Division. Michael, Percy, Birkhoff and Amanda watch as Alex is tortured, but Alex manages to escape and contact Nikita for help. Micheal was being tested da Pecry and Amanda to make sure that Alex wouldn't turn into another 'Nikita'. Micheal tells Alex that he won't let anything happen to her. Meanwhile, as Owen begins to trust Nikita, he reveals some alarming information about her fiance.
