i think that with out lucas in the mostra its a screw up lucas has been in the mostra fom giorno one and peyton is a big part of the mostra and brooke would not be recitazione as fine as she is in season 7 so i think they are okay they are just holding back on how payton and lucas are doing cause they want to scare the viewers they will most likely have them in the season8 and say the went traveling around the world o something and left albero hgill cause it was too much drama.
