That's funny, when Lundsey was together and I was discouraged about leyton, I made a poll with the same quote and had pretty much the same options except it was leyton vs lundsey. Anyhow, did you ever think that quote from brooke actually foreshadowed leyton and not brucas? Probably not right? Anyhow, that's how I interpreted it - though many brucas fans kept it as hope, I never once felt it was tailored to their future. I would have took that quote more seriously in brucas' favor if one of them said it while they were broken up or if one of them still wanted the other and it was said to them/by them; but Brooke said it while they were together & was referring to keith & karen; and luke was thinking about peyton the whole time. So for me, it veered toward leyton since brooke thought she was giving Luke hope about keith & his mom (keith, who wanted karen for years and @ the time, had her within reach), but she vicariously gave luke hope about peyton, cause he's wanted her for years, and was actually worried about his relationship with her (and had her within reach during those awkward circumstances).
