Ofcourse she did the right thing by accepting it. She made it perfectly clear to Lucas that she didn't WANT to leave him, and he made it clear to her that he didn't WANT her to leave either... but he knew it was the right thing for her to do. And it was.

Because it was her dream (not because of the Lucas part).

Choosing a boy over going after her dreams would be a BIG mistake.

Of course! Music was the biggest part of Peyton's life. To give up an opportunity to begin pursuing her dreams in order to stay home and hang out with a boy she was dating for 3 months would be completely foolish. I'm not saying it's easy to leave your boyfriend behind and try to work on a long distance relationship... but I don't think a 13 week relationship in high school should be what makes you decide to put your dreams on hold.

Dreams are important, chasing them and achieving them -i guess in some ways though lucas was her dream, its what she wanted in the end more than anything. Music was a part of her future, but so was he. Yeah i do totally think she did the right thing by going and aiming fofr hapiness with something that meant alot to her, lucas said he would wait & they agreed she should go. But then again if she stayed they wouldnt have grown apart, and wouldnt have broke up -saying that ig she hd stayed she wouldnt have moved back to tree hill for him, lucas wouldnt have wroten his amazing book the comet, they wouldnt have showed us how in love they were from a distance in season 5 and they probably wouldnt have had their spontanious marry me scene. It all worked out in the end, i guess at the end of the day you have to take risks like she did moving, and she got her leyton too <3

if she hadnt accepted it i would have hated her even more. like seriously if she had been that pathetic in giving up her dreams and ambitions for a stupid guy, i would have TOTALLY despised her, but she didnt and maintained what little respect i had for her that season lol. good decision p.sawyer.

Initially, it was a good decision, but it obviously turned out not to be, because Peyton ended up not gaining anything from her internship and had a pretty miserable life in LA. And she obviously regretted her decision of staying away from Lucas.
