it is getting annoying and nasty, and i hate being insulted and talked down apon because of my opinions. i would ilke a nice, civilized debate because in truth we are talking about something that doesn't even really exist. :D they are just characters on a tv show, right? why put someone down because they disagree with the opinions of the people on a tv show.
but, then again, when i am defending a character i am very insulted that someone would be so nasty towards someone i liked on a the tv show. like in all the peyton and haley bashing ppl say some pretty horrid things and it is very hurtfull, so i do get snippy. but, i also dont mean to be offensive i am just getting really defensive and i usually end up apologizing if i do, even if the other ppl i am arguing with aren't big enough to apologize too.
so, i had to agree with all three of those choices :D

half of what i say is off the cuff and not meant as a personal insult to the person i'm talking to even if they take it that way - but if i feel strongly about something and someone's really digging in or saying something that realy annoys me or i strongly disagree with i've got no problem having a rant - because i don't really care if people think i'm being nasty - to me it's more expressing my opinion in a more agressive way ;D - but i very rarely actually insult someone with malice.

well im not nasty im just like. u shouldn't be so mean! but i don't bs any characters. wellll maybe lindsey. but i don't hate any main characters. or actually the couples. im just leyton but i like brucas when they're friends!

well i've only just started watching one tree hill because my friend agreed to watch buffy if i did lol so i havn't really been around on this spot much for fear of spoilers but i've seen it get nasty on other spots especially with couple shipping, i don't mind people insulting the characters i like so long as they have a arguement and not just writing everywhere so and so is a effing whore or so and so is a bitch, that's when it just seems unnecessary

well im used to it becuase most of the time its on picks and people start it by trashing some peoples opini0ons and characters so you give em a peice of your mind, everybody does it!!

Some people take things too personal on here. Arguing our differences is fun. I don`t like when people are so stuck up their asses that they can`t bear to see curse words or arguing. It`s life so get over it. You`re right though it is just a show with fictional characters but I have seen you get very personal at times, a pick got deleted because of it.

well i hope I dont offend anyone lmao. i dont feel it necessary to be nasty toward a person because they don't like the same character or couple I like. i think you can defend your favorite character quite well without having to be nasty to each other....I mean damn it Lucas is my favorite character, you know how hard he is to defend soemtimes lmao. I still can justify a lot of what he does though :)
