BBC America released the first teaser for the show’s fourth season on Friday, and it’s certainly eye-opening.
Season four of the drama will see leader-of-the-pack, Sarah, reluctantly return home from her Icelandic hideout to track down an elusive and mysterious ally tied to the clone who started it all – Beth Childs. Sarah will follow Beth’s footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potent new enemy, heading in a horrifying new direction. Under constant pressure to protect the sisterhood and keep everyone safe, Sarah’s old habits begin to resurface. As the close-knit sisters are pulled in disparate directions, Sarah finds herself estranged from the loving relationships that changed her for the better.”
Series co-creator and writer Graeme Manson previously said season 4 will delve into stories that tie “back to the beginning,” and that Ari Millen will be back as one of the male clones.
Also returning alongside Tatiana Maslany as her numerous clone characters will be Jordan Gavaris (Felix), Maria Doyle Kennedy (Mrs. S), Kristian Bruun (Donnie), Kevin Hanchard (Art), Skyler Wexler (Kira), Josh Vokey (Scott), James Frain (Ferdinand), Allison Steadman (Kendall Malone), and Rosemary Dunsmore (Susan Duncan). They’ll be joined by Joel Thomas Hynes as Dizzy, an “edgy, self-reliant hacker who doesn’t conform to group mentality.” Additional casting will be announced in the coming weeks.
