15 everyone! Read and commento my peeps<3

I ran back to my cabina and took out my light blue drawstring bad and started putting extra changes of clothes, notebooks, pencils, and of course my libri into it. When it was full to capacity I pulled the string and it flipped over and hung the strings on my shoulders. I kept my dagger in my front pocket of my jean shorts and my Yankees berretto, tappo in the left back pocket. I couldn’t help but smile, I was actually going on this quest. It was official.
I turned around to see all my half siblings smiling at me, Lauren standing in the front.
“Oh my gods you’re leaving!” She screamed, throwing her arms around me.
“Yes I am! I can’t believe it either.”
“Just don’t get killed.” Chase detto stepping out from the crowed.
“Oh, trust me, I’ll try.” I smiled and hugged each of my siblings.
“And don’t let Poseidon boy get killed either. We may not like him, but we don’t want Poseidon and Zeus destroying the planet.” Chase detto punching me lightly. Lightening ran across the sky, seeking in through the drapes hanging on the windows and we all jumped when thunder sounded right after.
“Anyway, we want to give te this, before te go.” Madeline, my older sister handed me a book, it was all about Athena, written in Ancient Greek so it didn’t take 9 hundred eons to read the first page. I hugged everyone again and thanked them.
“You guys will be on my mind the whole time. I’ll miss you. I Amore te all!” Everyone smiled, I even saw tears in some of their eyes, I wanted to tell them it was okay, that'd I'd be back. But truthfully i was hoping that wasn’t the last time I saw them too.
After giving Lauren, my preferito half sister, one last hug I headed out the door with her tear stains on my sleeve and jogged to the superiore, in alto of the hill. I got there just in time; I saw Argus standing beside Chiron in wheelchair form, and Grover and Percy with their bags draped over their shoulders. I walked up the collina in silence and stood in between them. I still couldn’t believe it; I was going to be out there, actually out there.
Luke came jogging up the collina yelling Percy’s name over and over. We all turned around to see what was going on, Luke was carrying a pair of black Converse but I knew they weren’t any ordinary converse, they were a pair of his father’s “flying shoes” as Luke called them.
“Hey,” He detto slowing down and stopping right in front of us. My cheeks flushing and I played the strings on my bag. “Glad I caught you, just wanted to say good luck,” He told Percy holding out the sneakers. “And I thought… um, maybe te could use these.” Even though that was like, totally sweet of Luke- whoa, Aphrodite moment- Percy couldn’t use them, he couldn’t be anywhere but in the water and on the ground, the sky was bad news for him.
Luke yelled, “Maia!” And white bird’s wings sprouted from under the sneakers and flapped around aimlessly. Percy dropped them in surprise and wings died off, leaving just an ordinary pair of shoes on the ground.
“Awesome!” Grover said, in a total Grover way, which is why te got to Amore Grover.
A smile formed on Luke’s face and I almost melted. “Those served me well when I was on my quest. Gift from Dad. Of course, I don’t use them much these days…” His smiled turned into a flat line and he shifted uncomfortably. I knew Luke’s dad was a soft subject to touch upon for him; I never spoke of his dad.
“Hey man,” Percy detto smiling. “Thanks.”
“Listen, Percy…” Luke shifted uncomfortably again, although I didn’t know why this time. “A lot of hopes are riding on you. So just… kill some monsters for me, okay?” Luke finished, stuffed his hands in his pockets, his smile returned.
Percy and him shook hands, and Luke patted Grover between his horns which made me giggle, and then Luke… hugged me. YES! He hugged me! And I mean like a orso hug. I almost passed out after, but I steadied myself, just a boy… just a boy. But I still couldn’t stop from blushing and smiling and I think I’m forgetting how to breathe, someone call 911, we need an ambulance.
“You’re hyperventilating.” Percy told me, smirking sarcastically. I looked at him cautiously, afraid if I don’t focus on breathing I’ll stop all together.
“Am not,” I detto with attitude coating the words. Then Percy detto something that made me want to punch, punzone him, punch, punzone him so hard his father would feel it.
“You let him capture the flag instead of you, didn’t you?”
“Oh… why do I want to go anywhere with you, Percy!?” I yelled, stomping away towards Argus’ white SUV. He is such a twit, I went to go help him, and Luke capturing the plan was part of the plan, well… my plan. Urgh, why do I care what he thinks anyway?!
I climbed into the back of the car and I saw Argus’ eyes staring at me, and I could tell he was asking me what was wrong.
“Stupid Percy! Where does he come off as telling me what I did o didn’t do? He’s just so stupid!” Argus smiled and turned his head toward the hill, looking at Percy and Chiron talking. I took out my Yankees berretto, tappo and squeezed it tightly, “Please help me Athena, I have a feeling I’m going to need it,” I prayed to myself, quiet enough so Argus couldn’t hear. I glanced out the window and saw Percy removing the berretto, tappo off the pen which turned into a celestial bronze sword. He twirled it around in his hand, a perfect fit, I could tell. So this boy was the one, the great one, the prophecy one, the one to save the world. When did he act like it? I couldn’t answer that.
I focused my attention back to the back of Argus’ seat, still tightly gripping my cap. Sitting in this car, made this whole thing felt real to me, leaving camp, going to defeat monsters, saving the world. It was all happening. I wondered what Percy and Grover we’re thinking, are they as nervous as I am? Can they believe this is happening… is this all real to them?
We were headed toward Manhattan da lunch time, and I couldn’t keep my eyes off the back window. I just left my home, and I may never go back. Lauren’s voice started tumbling into my mind, I could just hear her saying “You’re going to come back alive, te weren’t made to die. Failing isn’t in your vocabulary.” I thought this was weird, because that’s totally a thing that Lauren would say, I smiled at the thought.
That’s when seaweed brain started talking, and my smile faded, “So far so good. Ten miles and not a single monster.” I looked at him like he was just an irritating bug and looked back at the window.
“It’s bad luck to talk that way, seaweed brain.”
“Remind me again - why do te hate me so much?”
“I don’t hate you,” I told him, and it actually was true. I didn’t hate him, I just felt like I had to hate him that it was like my duty o something.
“Could’ve fooled me,” He said, as I loosened my grip on my Yankees cap.
“Look… we’re just not supposed to get along, okay? Our parents are rivals.” I looked back out the window and stared at the passing cars.
“Why?” He asked, after about 2 minutes. I turned my head towards him again, and sighed a sigh I didn’t know I was holding in until after I let it out. “How many reasons do te want? One time my mom caught Poseidon and his girlfriend in Athena’s temple, which is hugely disrespectful. Another time, Athena and Poseidon competed to be patron god for the city of Athens. Your dad created some stupid saltwater spring for his gift. My mom created the oliva tree. The people saw that her gift was better, so they named the city after her.”
“They must really like olives.”
“Oh, forget it,” This boy, I sware, is made of stupidity.
“Now, if she’d invented pizza- that I could understand.”
“I said, forget it!” I told him, on the verge of yelling. I caught a glimpse of one of Argus’ eyes, which was telling me to use my inside voice. I nodded and paid più attention on the cars passing da and less on how naïve Percy was.
