I like to play easy pieces of course, but its very satisfying when you conquer a really tough song...though its kinda frustrating while I learn it...I'm trying to play Clare de Lune for the music competition in February and I'm only halfway through page three AND I'M SO FREAKED OUT THAT I WON'T BE ABLE TO GET IT DONE!!!! AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH! sorry. that's what my parents hear every day at home. just in case you were wondering.

When i was at the ages 7-11 i can play 3rd and 4th Grade Piano levels, but i still prefer the easy ones today.

right now i've been tackling Rhapsody In Blue and it's a SUPER HARD piece but nowadays i don't have much time to practice because of college so i usually play the easy disney songs in my spare time, or just play guitar... =D

i hate playing easy pieces. i don't feel like i've achieved anything, unless i am doing an easy piece i really like (like lion king)! mizzee17, goodluck with Raphsody in Blue, i know how hard it is!

at the mo i just finished victors piano solo off corpse bride now im learning 4 songs off phantom of the opera and im teaching myself once upon a december off the movie anastasia and im waiting for the sweeney todd music i ordered...and ontop of all that im preparing for my grade 5 exam :P

Mostly harder stuff. I'm a beginner (2 years) and I want to get to be better than I am, so I push myself to the limit.

The first song I ever learnt on the piano is Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera which is in D flat major and E major.. My teacher thought I was crazy..

when i play fun and easy ones i just feel happy and i love them but when i play difficult pieces i feel like i actually accomplished something and thats amazing :)
