Brick wandered the woods. Boomer had gotten away again.

"I swear when he gets back...he'll be sorry." Brick growled.

His ear twitched. He could here something behind him. He could here laughing. He turned around quick. His ears flat to the back of his head. He hissed and growled. A cat jumped out of the woods. Brick hissed and swung at the cat. But the cat was a kitten. It didn't attack him. It started to cry.

"Mommy!!" It cried.

"No,no,no,no,no! Don't get your mom! o dad! Please I've had enough fighting in the past week." Brick pleaded.

But it was too late. The mother had jumped out and snagged the kitten.

"What are te doing?!" She asked washing her kit.

"I was just out looking for my brother when she jumped out at me!" Brick hissed.

"Blond cat? Big blue eyes? No toes on his paws? I've seen him." The cat said.

"I'm Morningflower, and this is my kitten Littlecloud." Morningflower replied.

"Okay, how many più of te is there?" Brick asked looking around.

"None. I'm alone. Just me and Littlecloud." She detto picking up her kit. "By."

"You have a Clan?" Brick asked. He needed più Gatti in his Clan. His Clan was small compared to the others.

"Nope." She meowed. "My mate died before Littlecloud was born, and my Clan kicked me out because my mate had turned on them, so they blamed me."

"That's sad...Hey! I'm the leader of a Clan! te could unisciti if te want!" Brick offered.

"What is your Clan's name?" Morningflower asked.

"Name? It doesn't have a name." Brick detto looking puzzled.

"Your Clan NEEDS a name!" Morningflower detto looking surprised.

"Got any ideas, Morningflower?" Brick asked.

"Something cool, and to have to do with your Clan's personality." Morningflowed mewed.

"RoughClan?" Brick asked.

"To boyish. te have girls in your Clan I'm sure." Morningflower said.

The two sat there in scilence for at least 5 minutes. Then they both got an idea.

"FireClan!" They both shouted.

"That's it! FireClan!" Brick screeched.

"I have to tell my- our Clan!" Brick detto racing back. "Fallow me!"

The two headed back. Morningflower saw all the Gatti about. Males, females, kits, middle aged kits, adults, all kinds!

"Mommy who are these cats?" Littlecloud asked.

"Your new friends." Morningflower purred. "I'm pretty sure there are kits your age around here."

"I hope so." Littlecloud meowed.

"I'm sure there will. Look, there goes one now!" Morningflower said.

It was Bryce. He sat there da a tree, sad. He missed Bella and his mom. And he hoped Boomer would be home soon too.






Brick climbed up on The High Rock, to announce the Clan's name.

"My Clan! I need your attention!" Brick meowed across all the cats.

Everyone stopped what they were doing, and looked up at Brick.

"Our Clan has a name!" He said. "From now on, our Clan's name shall be FireClan."

All the Gatti purred of amussment. Brick hopped down and all the Gatti resumed yo their buisness.

"Go on, Littlecloud." Morningflowe advised. "Make some friends."

Littlecloud wasn't sure if she wanted to. But, something made her want to. She walked up to Bryce.

"H-hi..." She detto shy.

"Hi." Bryce said.

"I-I'm Littlecloud." She mewed.

"Hi, Littlecloud. I'm Bryce." Bryce detto ears down because of sadness.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"My family went down from four to two." Bryce detto burrying his face in his paws.

"Oh..That's really, really, really sad." Littlecloud purred.

"It's okay..."Bryce sighed.





'Looks like Littlecloud did find a friend.' Morningflower thought.
