"Why do te have homework?" I asked my friend Tanner.
"Because I actually go to school." He replied, not looking up from his paper.
"But I can't and te know why." I said. I don't go to school for reasons te will soon find out.
"It's not my fault te killed te parents and hid them so no one will find there bodies." He used a joking tone.
"But that's not what happened." I continued. "My parents tried to kill me and I ran away to live in that old crappy abanded house." Yup, that's what happened.
"Just be glad te don't have to worry about sibblings." He mumbled. He has two younger sisters.
"New subject, are te taking Alice to the Halloween dance?" I asked. Alice is his new girlfriend. I don't like her and she doesnt like me. We were actually Friends up until middle school. Then she started going out with guys who were older than her and cheated on them. Now I don't want that to happen to Tanner, but I can't help him. Whenever that witch is around she keeps his attention away from me.
"Yeah. She begged. I was going to convince Mr. Shang to let me bring you." He explained. I hate how i think about things and he has to come along and say something!
"Oh. Well it's good to know te were thinking about taking me!" I faked a smile. HE looked up.
"Nikki, I know te don't like Alice, but never forget you're the girl I always need." He says that all the time!
"Ok, what ever. I'm goin' on a bike ride." I said. I left the dinning room and went to the garage. I grabbed Tanner's bike and rode out to taco Bell. I ordered five soft tacos.
"Hey, quierda. How are you?" I heard my menter/person-who-cares-for-me, Maria. She visits me everyday if i dont come to taco Bell. She is the only adult, except Tanner's mom, who knows where i live.
"I'm either jealus o sad." I said.
"Is Tanner still with Alice?" Maria asked.
"Yes." I finished my first taco. Maria rubbed my back.
"Has he told te about anyone new?" She asked.
"No. Why?" I replied.
"Oh, never mind. He'll tell te later." She smiled and walked off, finishing her job.
