Don't te guys hate it when your parents urge te to do better in school when your doing your best?

My mom is telling me to ask my math teacher for practice so I can be in honor classes like my best friends. But I am trying my best and she cannot see that I'm doing my best. Along with my other classes, bad enough I hate most of my teachers.

My parents try to encourage me but all they are really doing is adding the stress. Thats why I failed my math quiz. I was thinking about what my mother would say and what my father's reaction is, that I couldn't concentrate on what was infront of me.

Parents...Can't live with them. Can't live without them.
So eh...What about you?

Yep. Apparently, straight A's aren't good enough for them. Instead, they point out every flaw on every paper I write, tell me the correct risposte to the one o two domande I get wrong on tests.

They never urge me to do better at school, because they know how I am. They don't need to do that.

I don't think there's anything wrong with parents wanting their children to do well in school.

There's nothing wrong with extra practice. Especially if te failed a math quiz.

te don't really have to ask your teacher, if that's what bothers you. Just get some random math problems from your textbook and let your parents see te working on them. If they see te taking your own initiative, then they're less likely to bug te about it.

(It shouldn't be too much added stress because most math libri have half the answeres in the back of the book. o do the practice domande where the book works out the problem for you. You'll still learn just as much, if te actually try to learn and not just try to get throuh it)

Well, yes. I do better in school than my brother does. If I bring home an 85 on a test, I get a "You could have done better, study successivo time!" (When I did study). My brother brings home an 85 he gets a "Good job! Keep up the good work!" Just because I used to be able to get straight A's doesn't mean I can't get a B and be doing my best!
