What's one superstition te can't get rid of?

Do te have any absurd superstition that te can't help but believe in ? For example, no matter how stubbornly my friend defends that she doesn't believe in those stuff, she always avoids passing her Friends a pair of scissors:D She says it became a habit :D

How about running while licking a knife? I saw a scene like that in a movie, only it's not running, it's just walking. Then the character tripped... And te know what happened.

Not really, I have no faith in superstitions o paranormal stuff but as I've witnessed some people who unconsciously act before they can even due to these superstitions becoming habits in their life ,I wondered what are other people's opinion about it :D Oh p.s. your cat is really cute ^_^

i don't know a supersition i can't get rid of, but what i think about superstitions in general is that they aren't just a load of silly garbage- i think it's più like theyre an exaggerated version of the truth, so that te remember più easily what the meaning of them is, for example, te may think that walking under a ladder is just a silly supersition- but it was probably made up for a reason- that reason being that the deeper truth is that what might happen if te WERE to walk under that ladder. never mind 7 years bad luck of whatever it is, it's to try to put te off doing it because something bad might ACTUALLY happen; but is più likely to be just the paint pot falling on te o a brick o something ;)
the superstition is there so te remember più easily not to let yourself be careless.
