The first half is about Ed being sorry about how he made his brother loose his body. The chorus is about how they miss their dead mother, and the secondo half (Don't cry for the past) Is where Al is telling his brother that it's alright and they'll sposta forward. Only if you're an FMA fan will te truly know the meaning of this song ^-^;
