iPhone help??

So my friend here was updating her phone on the computer, and when it finished updating everything was gone. (every single app, song, contact, etc.)

Is there any way to get it all back? o is it just gone forever.

(It's a 4S, if that helps)

Ermmmm that's why te back things up. Everything should be on her computer, the foto on iPhoto and the apps and songs on iTunes.
