No.
I don't compare myself to others but for me it doesn't have an effect on me.

No. It's an outlet. I write horror and gore because it's a healthy/creative way to vent out my frustrations. I watch and read horror because they are sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza ways to get thrills and adrenaline without putting yourself in actual danger. Plus they are just morbidly fascinating and fun.

Also horror can be used to point out real horrors. King is very good at conveying the monstrosities of things like racism, homophobia, and abuse as what they are--evil, monstrous things.

I don't think it has any mental issues but physically for me yes. I Amore horror movies, but I'm a pussy lol. I can only watch them during the daytime, but even at night I can't sleep lol

I wouldn't say that. Used to be scared of them when I was little but now I'm mostly intrigued and fascinated. That depending on the type of Horror too but hardly anything regarding fear anymore. Zan-Zan's Answer is summing it pretty well for me as well !!!!

Like yesterday only I was talking to my cousin and she detto she stopped watching emotionally heavy stuff like movies, o tv shows because it gives her anxiety. She couldn't even watch Attack on Titan because it gave her a nightmare.

Personally I don't have this problem but recently I'm finding myself getting really affected da the libri I read. I'm Leggere 'The Hidden Valley Road' and it has pretty heavy stuff. Last I read 'Gulag Archipelago' and I completely skipped the chapter on torture methods xD
