Perhaps the ending scene of Scarlet Heart isn't sad for the entire time, and might not be too sad for people who haven't watched the series, but for people who've watched the series...
It's literally my favorite Asian drama right now; it even surpassed Goblin, my previous favorite Kdrama. You wouldn't believe how happy I am that someone else drew attention to this series ♥♥♥♥.
In my head Wang So and Hae Soo reunite in the future and live happily ever after; to think otherwise would result in me being emotionally unstable.
