it really depends cuz sometimes u want to cuddle up on ur couch and eat icecream but sometimes you want to have fun and go somewhere with friends to hang out so both are pretty fun

I always get sick the day after I come back from a cinema.

There too much noise in an cinema and plus if there's little children getting up.. and you paid like $20.00, watch it at home with your friends or buddy or something..

People are way less likely to be talking the entire time and trying to analyze what's going to happen next. Or saying "What happened?" every 5 minutes in a theater... Or trying to rewind to hear something they missed, but going back a whole scene instead..

It's more fun at the cinema ;))

There are some movies that you HAVE to see on the big screen, just because the visual effects are best seen at that size, but most movies I just wait until they come on DVD.

There always seems to be someone coughing, unwrapping candy or whatever noisily, moving around, blocking your view, or just generally being annoying in the theater. At home it's comfortable, you can watch at your own pace any time you choose (especially if you're watching by yourself), pause and stop and rewind and all of that...not to mention it's cheaper....BUT, having said all that, there IS something enjoyable about going to the movies, and I tend to go there for the movies I'm MOST excited about. There can be downsides to watching at home as well, particularly when a group is involved. xD But whether you're alone or with family/friends, both have their pros and cons. ^^
