I'd love to be an animal though. (Even though this question means a race, not an animal.) Plus, even though it sounds stupid, I'm not entirely convince that animals are "simple" like people believe. Heck, some dogs are smarter than some people I know! I would love the thrill and if they really are simple, then I would love to get away from all of the stressful things in my life, if even for a day. Of course, overall, I wouldn't trade what I have, but there are days when I wouldn't be too upset to. =)

Monrose:I get your point,you have a lot more opportunities when you're human.But on the other hand being and animal is so much easier.You don't get betrayed,cheated.You don't end up broken hearted.You don't have to proove yourself over and over again.You don't have moneyproblems,you don't have to deal with emotions like jealousy,pain,sadness.Animals just have a way less complicated life.And I'd rather have ten worthy years than eighty crappy years full of sorrow and pain.

Haley: Do you think that a dog's life (or any animal) is easy? Everytime when I get up in the morning, I envy my cat, because I know that she can just keep on sleeping and o whatever she wanna do. But she can't. She's a cat. She has to eat catfood, she has a short life, she'll never see the world outside our neighborhood. And then I satrt to feel sorry for her. But of course, that's nothing I need to worry about, because she doesn't know anything better.

Yeah I think it might be. Just as you said that animals are simple -- we dont really know. Anyway if a dog lived 12 years, it would probably seem longer than that anyway as they dont really do anything. (Like humans)
