**FAN-FICTIONAL WARNING**
The following Friday seemed like a giorno as any other. However, I walked to school smiling. I don't like school, and I never smiled, but last night made me think about something very important.
If I could only patch the quilt that is my and Ranma's friendship, his and Akane's would unravel.
Today, I felt as though that was a nasty thought, so I ignored it, even as I Akane and Ranma appeared when I turned the corner. I hid, poking my head about. Why am I this devious when it comes to him?
Akane had Ranma's collare in her wicked grasp when she pulled Ranma closer. At first, I thought she would baciare him, so I flinched. She didn't. She only yelled.
"RANMA! I found te in the yard this morning looking around for her! What is the meaning of this?! Do te want me to kick your ass?!"
Ranma put up his hands in innocent and nervously grinned.
"N-no Akane! I just wanted to see if Sofia-chan was still there. Ya don't have to yell at me!" Akane was furious. She pushed him away when she released his red camicia and stomped away with her uniform flapping against the noisy wind that the gray clouds above forced upon her. Ranma watched her leave, scratching the back of his head.
A voice behind me made arms jolt.
"There they go, at it again." one of Ranma's friend detto with crossed arms.
"Poor Akane. She has the worst fiancee in the world." Akane's companion added shaking her head. Then she said, "Sofie, right?" pointing at me. "The one who tried to stop the wedding?"
"You like him, huh?" another said.
"But she's younger than Saotome, right?" asked a male student.
"What do have against Akane?"
Not answering any of there questions, I flipped my long red hair out of my face and replied,
"What te say to me is inevitable. My feelings for Mr. Saotome and any other pupil at Furinkan High School are none of your concern, nor any of your business of knowing."
They were silent, and then trotted ahead of me. Ass-holes.
I was sitting in my sede, sedile near the end of the giorno when the first rain drop knocked against my window. I stared at the sky, next, as it called: Today there will be a storm. Grab an umbrella on your way out. My raindrops are like steel. You'll need a partner to hang on to the umbrella with you, because my wind will blow te away. I scoffed, took my case in hand, and headed out. When I made it to the front doors, I saw people holding their libri above their heads to keep dry. Thats when I saw the umbrella basket that held them all. I grabbed a green one, and put my hand on the door.
"Hey!" someone shouted seeming to be out of breath from the long flight of stairs. "You gonna share that with me, Sof?"
Ranma...
I turned and smiled with pinkish cheeks. "Yes, why?"
"I gotta go somewhere when I get home, and I'd rather be a man when I go." he said, covering my hand on the handle, holding onto the umbrella as well. Once we were out of the building, a screeching voice yelled, "RANMA!" and Akane was there in a secondo with her libri atop her head as well.
"You would let me walk in the rain alone on the way home?! te jerk!" she screamed, and smacked the umbrella out of Ranma's hand and mine.
I moved my soaked hair away from my eyes, which revealed a short, well-built red-head like myself squeezing the rain from her braid.
"Akane, what the Hell! I had to go somewhere later!"
"Take a bath when te get home, stupid! You'll need it to get rid of all the cagna thats smothering your attitude!" the thunder cracked, and I could barely hear them anymore. The clouds were right, and the fierce wind was picking up. I couldn't stay any longer, so I began to run. I glanced once behind me, but the girls were still fighting. They're tough, I told myself. They'll be alright. Halfway home I met up with Ryoga, who was taking shelter near a bacheca da the Cat Cafe` with his red umbrella close to his body.
"Onii-san (older brother)!" I screamed over the howling wind. He saw me, and dashed to grab my hand. When he did, he bolted home faster than I could run.
The storm was muffled from inside the warm house. Ryoga was in the cucina boiling più leaves while I sat on the floor around the tavolo sipping the outcome; Tea. Checkers was ominously looking out the window at the rolling clouds, her tail limp on the ground. Ryoga refilled my cup, and sat down with me. I could tell he was staring at me, but I didn't know why.
"What is bothering you, imouto-san (younger sister)?" Ryoga asked, with a glint of worry in his eyes.
I weakly said, "Nothing. I'm... wodering how te made it home without getting lost."
He gave me a little nudge on my shoulder that meant a sarcastic thanks.
But I was worried for Ranma.
