A couple of days before it was reported da various RHCP sitesthat Anthony and possibly Flea would be taking part in the Surfrider Celebrity Expression event at Malibu Lagoon State Beach, north of Santa Monica. da blind luck during my holiday touring south to north California I happened to be leaving Hollywood and driving on the coast north to Santa Barbara on the giorno and time of the surf event.
We got there around 11 after narrowly avoiding a possible HUGE crash on the 405 freeway, half a pallet had fallen from a truck and as everyone was avoiding it we hit it dead on but luckily the car skipped over it and we regained control. The giorno could've been over before it even started. The towels got set down near the entrance to the beach, until I investiagted around the corner and found that's where the event actually was, it was much busier. So we began walking up and as we did the celebritàs were walking toward us with their boards and the papprazi / interviews then followed da most of the crowd. I walked up between them but I could only see Flea. As soon as they stopped at the right part of the spiaggia I saw Anthony standing near Flea talking, I got distracted da them and one of the stars hit me with his board accidentally but apologised...
