We were climbing up the drain one da one. The Denali’s decided to go home another route to hunt. “How’s your neck, Jasper?” Carlisle asked wonderingly.
“Okay. It’s not that bad.” he mumbled
“I’ll get the cars.” Emmett declared happily. “Rose, come help.” He and Rosalie ran off to find two cars. We met them at the car park just outside of Volterra. They beat us there. Rosalie was sitting on the bonnet of an AUDI RS 6 and Emmett was leaning against a Range Rover sport. We walked over to them and Emmett diviso, spalato us up into cars.
Rosalie, Esme, Emmett and Bella were in the AUDI while I went with Carlisle, Alice and Jasper in the Range rover. Carlisle drove reluctantly halfway to Firenze. We were about halfway there, when I felt my arm stinging. “Ouch.” I moaned.
“Are te okay?” Carlisle asked me.
“Yeah. But I could really do with a cast on this.” I detto pointing to my arm that was in Alice’s cardigan.
“We’ll get te one when we get to Firenze.” He told me.
I looked in the driver’s mirror and watched Alice and Jasper, she was talking quietly to him. I wished so much that my Dad would be home soon. Carlisle phoned Rosalie to find out what hotel they were staying in. It didn’t take long to find the hotel as it was one of the biggest in Firenze, typical Rosalie. Carlisle and I went into book a hotel room. Carlisle was over at the front scrivania, reception and I was snooping around the reception when I saw Rose and Emmett in the shadows.
“Renesmee.” Emmett called and beckoned me over to them. I walked over cautiously. “Can te get Carlisle for us?” Rose asked. I nodded. I walked over to get Carlisle, and pointed them out to him.
“Hi.” Emmett beamed.
“We have already booked the rooms.” Rosalie explained, “They are on the 8th floor. All in the same hallway.”
“Okay. We will get te there later.” He turned to me, “Renesmee, go and mostra Alice and Jasper where their room is. I will go and get something for your arm.” I followed him outside and went to the car.
“Mum, Rose and Emmett already booked rooms.” I told him.
“Where are they?” He asked me.
“8th Floor.” I detto quickly.
He nodded and turned to Alice and swiftly lifted her out the car.
“There’s an elevator right at the door.” I detto as he walked ahead. I followed behind him as fast as I could trying to forget the pain in my arm. We got into the elevator and I pressed the number 8 button. When we got out I saw Rosalie and Emmett putting bags into their room. “Rose!” I shouted across the hall. She turned and nodded.
“Catch.” She detto quietly
“Here te go.” I detto giving Jasper the key. I skipped down the corridor till I found my room. I knocked lightly on the door, my mum opened it for me.
“Hi.” Mum detto as I walked smoothly into the room.
“Hi.” I answered her nicely. I took a sede, sedile on the poltrona and Carlisle knocked three times on the door and I jumped up to answer it. He smiled at me. I sat down on the poltrona and pointed my arm out towards him.
“This should only take a minute.” He detto to me as he took Alice’s cardigan off my arm.
“Ouch!” I exclaimed as he poked at my arm. “Sorry.” He whispered quietly. After the cast was on, I stood up and gave him a hug, “Thanks” I whispered in his ear.
“Ehm... mum. Would it be okay for me to take this to Alice?” I detto holding up the cardigan.”
“sure.” She replied nodding her head.
I walked down the hall and knocked lightly on her door. Jasper answered the door.
“Hello Renesmee.” He detto with a small smile.
“Hi.” I detto swallowing, “Would it be okay for me to come and give this to Alice?” I detto pointing to the cardigan.
“Uhm... sure.” He said, opening the door just wide enough for me to fit through.
Alice was sitting on the divano staring into space. Probably searching the future for any information on how to get my dad back. She heard me coming and turned her head slightly.
“Hi. I...ehm... brought te your cardigan back.” I detto putting the cardigan down on the arm of the couch.
“Thanks.” She detto plainly. It was obvious that she didn’t want me around so I cut the conversation short.
“see te later.” I detto and walked over to the door. I just reached the door when she let out a small gasp. Jasper was over at her, whispering to her. Probably asking what she saw, but didn’t want me to hear. What I didn’t realise was that, the picture I took from her room was in my back pocket, with her and my dad’s head pocking out of the superiore, in alto of my denim jeans, there was a teardrop in the middle of there heads, I left and shut the door quietly. I walked down the hallway slowly thinking about what would happen if we couldn’t get my dad back. I shuddered. I reached out and just before I got a hold of the door handle Rosalie had pulled the door back and was standing in front of me. She moved over just enough so that I could squeeze by. I sat on the divano beside Esme and Emmett who were also in my room. Carlisle and mum were on the armchairs opposite us. Rose sat on the arm of the couch.
“What’s happening?” I asked nervously.
“We were just trying to figure out a way to get your father back.” Mum explained.
“Well. Why aren’t Alice and Jasper here too?” I protested.
“We felt that we should give them some time alone.” Mum detto smoothly.
“Okay.” Was all I could say.
I thought about what Alice might have seen in her vision. It probably wasn’t a good thing.
“When will the bonds between Alice and the rest of us be back to normal?” I questioned Carlisle.
“I don’t know sweetie, sorry. I have never come across Chelsea actually using it before.” He answered sadly.
I just nodded.
“So how are we going to get Edward back?” Emmett asked.
“We could go and start another fight.” Rosalie suggested.
“Yeah because that went so well before didn’t it.” Emmett detto warily.
Rosalie cocked her head to the side and looked at him.
“My brother has abandoned his family and my little Nessie has got a broken arm. And I don’t think the Denali’s are going to be doing any più favours for us for a while”
“Well, what else do te propose that we do?” She asked.
“Okay guys. Can we please stop fighting.” I pleaded. Emmett and Rosalie immediately turned and faced straight ahead. At least they weren’t sniping at each other any more.
There was a soft tap on the door of our suite and mum got up to answer it. A very concerned looking Jasper and Alice walked into the room.
“Good te can help us think of a plan.” Emmett announced.
“We have some bad news.” Jasper detto glumly.
“What’s happened?” Carlisle said, standing up and walking over to Jasper.
“Alice had a vision. She saw Edward out hunting with Heidi.” He paused. “They were hunting humans.”
I shuddered and Rosalie put her arms around me.
“When?” I squeaked.
Jasper never looked at me. He kept facing Carlisle, “two days.” He whispered quietly. Just not quiet enough. I gasped and my cuore started pounding in my chest.
“How are te Alice?” Carlisle asked, clearly trying to change the subject.
“Okay.” she admitted. “ I really want to help te but I don’t know how much I trust te all.”
“We are not going to push te Alice.” Esme whispered softly, “come back to us when te are ready.”
She nodded. They headed for the door.
“Wait, are te going to stay and help us make up a plan?” Emmett questioned them raising an eyebrow.
“Yeah, sure.” Jasper replied, Alice merely nodded.
“Anyone got any other ideas?” Mum asked. “ I really want him back.”
“Ehm...mum can I go call Jacob?” I asked innocently.
“Sure honey, here.” She handed me her phone.
“Thanks.” I walked round the hotel looking for signal and eventually found it outside at the front door.
I dialled his number, that I knew off da heart, and waited for him to pick up.
“Hello,” a gruff majestic voice answered.
“Hello Billy, it’s Renesmee. Is Jacob in?” I asked politely
“Yes here he is.” I heard the phone being passed to Jacob.
“Hi Jake.” I detto back.
“What’s up? How are things going with Alice and Edward?” he asked urgently.
“Not well.” I admitted. “We have Alice back but she won’t talk to us. Chelsea, a Volturi member, has broken all the bonds between us so Alice doesn’t trust us o like us.”
“That’s hard.” Jake said.
“Yeah, I miss my Dad so much, oh and guess what.” I detto down the microphone.
“What!” he detto a tad louder than he usually spoke.
“Eh there is this guy in the Volturi, he is as big as Emmett, right.” I told him.
“Yes, Nessie, tell me what has happened now are te hurt!” he almost shouted.
“Yes Felix broke my arm in two places.” I detto quietly.
“That bloody leech, I’m going to kill him!” He bawled.
“Get in line.” I muttered under my breath. “Emmett’s first.”
“Whatever. I am still going to kill him, even if it means , reviving him to kill him again.” He growled then laughed.
“Okay Jake, I better go back up.” I said
“Aww. Okay. Bye. When te coming home?” He asked me.
“Not sure. Ill call te soon. Bye.”
“Bye. Amore you.” He detto sadly, and hung up.
I turned on my heels and hopped into the elevator and hit the eighth floor button.
I walked slowly back to my room. Stopping outside of Rose and Emmett’s room.
“I’m sorry I trust te all, I guess they really were messing with my head.” I overheard Alice from inside my room.
I knocked a few times on the door. Esme answered it.
She gave me a small hug then let me in.
“Hi sweetie.” Mum called to me as I walked in.
“Hey Mum,” I detto as I handed her the phone
“What was the dog saying?” Rosalie asked,
“He is in line to kill Felix.” I announced laughing once. Emmett went into a fit of laughter.
“What’s the plan then?” Jasper asked.
“Well Renesmee’s plan managed to get Alice back, so maybe te could think of another one sweetie?” Esme suggested.
“Really, I’ve been trying but I kinda expected them to come together.” I detto unhappily.
“Wait that was your plan Renesmee, it was te who wanted to risk your life for me and your Dad?” Alice asked confused.
“Yes I just wanted to help, I hate our family being diviso, spalato up, excuse me two minutes.” I detto as I ran into my bedroom crying.
“I’ll go two minutes.” Mum said.
“No Bella please can I do this, I’ve made up with all of te when I should have made up with her first, excuse me.” She detto headed for the bedroom.
She knocked lightly on my bedroom door, “Renesmee can I come in please,” she chimed.
She walked in gracefully without waiting for an answer.
“Whats up?” she asked as she sat at the foot of my letto cross-legged.
“Nothing,” I sobbed.
“Come on sweetie, te know te can’t fool me.” She chuckled.
“It’s nothing,” I insisted.
“You know I really like that picture.” Alice detto smiling.
“What picture?” I looked over at her with confused eyes.
“The one with your Dad, Jasper and I.”
“Oh that one, how do te know I had it.” I asked her confused.
“When te gave me back my cardigan I saw it in your back pocket.” She explained.
“Oh I’m sorry here take it, I don’t want te hating me più than te already do.” I reached into my back pocket and got it out.
“You can keep it, why would I hate te silly?” she asked with confused eyes raising a delicate eyebrow.
“I overheard te making up with everyone else apart from me.” I detto looking down.
“That’s because I didn’t think it was your idea.”
I just looked at her. Alice gave me a hug, “I am sorry for being and being an idiot, for becoming one of them and for abandoning te and the rest of my family.”
“Its okay,” I hugged her back.
“Where is your crest Alice?” I asked her looking at my own crest on my bracelet.
She put her hand to her neck feeling for it, “I never even realised it was gone.” She detto startled.
“ Do te think it would still be in Volterra?” I wondered.
“I would think so, lets go back through and see what they say.” She detto taking my good hand in her own. We walked through and sat with the others.
“Who goes?” Emmett asked Carlisle.
“I don’t know who should go?”
“ME!” he beamed.
“Okay but te aren’t going alone!” Carlisle told him Emmett’s face dropped.
“Jasper should go because he’s a good fighter.” Rosalie suggested.
“If Jasper is going I’m going.” Alice declared.
“I’m going, if he listens to anyone it will be me.” Mum said.
“Can I go please?” I asked in a small quiet voice.
Everyone shouted no in unison.
“Please he is my Dad it was my plan to start with!” I pointed out.
“If te are going te stick with me the whole time!” Mum strictly told me.
“Affirmative.” I promised.
“Renesmee, go to letto now te have a long giorno ahead of te tomorrow.” Esme detto pointing to my bedroom.
“Kay night night.” I answered giving everyone a baciare goodnight.
