Do te think Sophie believed in Jack?

In the movie,Sophie didn't seem to slip off Jack's arms when he was bringing her home despite the fact that only someone who believes in Jack can be touched da him.

Anyone who is sophie's age would believe in anything . I mean if te told a kid that a monster was chasing the,m what do te think they would do ?!
