OMFG!!!! First of all I used to be both a Nair and a Serenate fan, but then Chair surprised me and I became a Chair lover, I still adore Serenate BUT I´m sooo pissed at the writers right now!! I haven´t been in fanpop in a while but I needed to express how much I hate gossip girl and let everyone know that I won´t watch it from now on, the reason?? I just found out that Serena and Dan are going to get back together for the twentieth time in 4x10 seriously writers WTF???? this was the only thing left to definitely ruin the show, Don´t te think that maybe derena stopped being good and interesting after the last mmm Idk the what? last fourth times and guess what THEY DON´T WORK!! and now all of a sudden and precisely when there´s più Serenate fan than ever out there, te decide that Derena must happen again??are te insane? wasn´t enough for te to kill Chair making the Basstard cheating on B with little whore??? now te also have to kill any hope left for Serena and Nate da doing this, well congrats producers!! te are about to lose lots LOTS of viewers da the start of the 2nd half of season 4 and te should be worried about this because as your ratings are going, the last thing te need is to lose audience. I don´t get this whole Derena fascination that Josh has, they meant NOTHING in the original story, I mean with Chair I get it they weren´t a big deal in the libri either but they turned out to be awesome in the show, and don´t te dare to say that it´s the same case with Derena because IT IS NOT!! neither Derena o Serenate can be compared with Chair that´s for sure, but the original Amore triangolo was Blair/Nate/Serena and if in the mostra te have Chair why in the world are te even thinking about making Derena endgame instead of giving the original Amore triangolo a proper ending da making Nate finally choose, and I say again if Chair is(or was IDK anymore) so great in the mostra and Serena and Nate are the only couple left of the original Amore triangolo wouldn´t be THE OBVIOUS thing to do to end this mostra with Chair and Serenate? and don´t give me the whole the-show-doesn´t-follow-the-same-SL-from-the-books-they-are-different argument THAT´S BS!!! they are not the same SL I agree but it´s an ADAPTION from the libri so the scent of both stories IS THE SAME for Christ´s sake!!! then why do te keep bringing Derena into the picture? are te so clueless than te can´t think in clever obstacles for N/S relationship? AND the most important if Chair is the main couple of your show(they are btw) why te also keep throwing the whole shit of the world at their relationship?? are te really that slow? well in that case so sorry for te JS because with that Derena rerererereunion in 4x10-12 te just signed the decease certificate of your mostra bye bye GG TV adaption te could´ve been so good and te are about to end up like this... I guess after the OC we should have figured out sooner that making fan miserable and getting shows cancelled is this producer specialty.

Tasha1993 WTF. Dan was always the F-ing jugmentle one and Nate was always the one who accepted Serena no matter what and now their turning the cards around. When will Josh grow a brain. I feel like kicking Josh Swartz's ass. (Don't really care if I misspelled his name). But I still have my NS faith. Considering she chose Dan first, I think they'll break up and she'll end up with Nate.

neym please don't be mad at me. But i always think one of the main reasons DS still exist n had lot of shippers is because they're in relationship in real life. Which is unfair T_T GG was blair-nate-serena triangle. but lately i found nate didn't even fit anymore in it. i really hate the writers!

BlairWaldorf-xo I found this spec quiet interesting... With shows like GG where the only drama comes from interaction of the mains I think 5 seasons is a nice round number. Especially with the way the storylines are going this year. From my perspective, 5 seasons would give us just enough time to see CB be a bonafide engaged couple and have NS and DV make their way back to each other after the drama of this year's DS and possible NJ. That's why I think this season is the perfect time to do those ships, because it would leave us a season to fix it and put it back the way IMO it should be.

TheLiineGirl if this is the last season THIS IS NOT GOOD! but (like BlairWaldorf-xo already talked about) if there is going to be an 5th season, this could be good! you know like in season 1 & 2 she started out with Nate, started dating Dan, choosing Dan, breaking up with Dan, because he judged her (which is actually the main reason i'm mad! out of nothing Dan understands her and he's there for her even though he don't know if it's true or not? since when? 1x16 - 1x17 - 1x18 anyone? he almost slept with Georgina because S said that she had cheated on him and know he's the only one who believes in her?! I WANT NJBC back - they pwns that show!) and then she was the best friend with Nate and did all that for for him and then she goes back to Dan, and then they breaks up and then she gets someone els? this sucks!

serenateaddict Actually, Gossip Girl has 6 seasons according to sources... And in my opinon, Id rather have Serena and Nate end with some random person than ending with stupid Dan and bitchy Jenny or Vanessa or end up being alone is fine with me. Anything! Just not with those freakin' brooklyns because they should go back where they came from w/c id BROOKLYN and not mess with the NJBC...

Anyway i dont think it really matters if there contracted to 6 seasons becuase there all starting to get a good career and even the producers arnt that keen to let it go on for long. AnnaK i don't want to be a downer..but I'm actually looking forward to seeing dan and serena back together again because in my opinion they just belong together and have been separated too long. and about people claiming that they get together for the 10th or something time..well,nate and serena hooked up and broke up numerous times,too. as far as the endgame is going...it will be hard for the writers to satisfy both us derena and serenate fans...i see a lot of people getting pissed if she chooses one over the other. they could make it work if they either filmed two endings later (a derena ending for d/s fans and a serenate ending for n/s fans) but unfortunately i believe they will do a rory gilmore storyline with her:-( i always wanted nate to end up with vanessa..but seriously? her character has gone downhill.

KateBick Ha i couldnt disagree more with all of you! Dan and serena have been THE couple from the start of the show, nate was just some weirdo who was obsessed with serena from the start but then when eventually got the chance with her and she kissed dan he wouldnt even give her a second chance and went straight to the next girl whereas dan planned on going to paris to tell serena he loved her. Last episode it was clearly obvious who serena wanted to be with as she rang dan not nate and didnt even answer his phone call but nate being a physco turned up anyway because he probably realised he had noone else to go to :) so yeah Serenate sucks ass and Darena are the best :)

serenateaddict I just hope the SERENA DAN story won't last. Maybe in the 2nd half of season 4, we will see S regret and realize that Nate is the one. Just like 3x11, Serena chose Tripp instead of Nate, but it's so surprising that after 2 episodes, they are now together. Let's hope the storyline will be like that.

xoxo_lil_a The only reason that i hate dan and serean is that everone knows she belongs with nate! since season on where dan had to get under her skin just because she wanted to change but im just so tired of serena and dan being on then off then on then off by now the writers made it super clear that they will never work so why try to make it a triangle! it just bugs me that they have the same plot ending the same way every time! its so annoying when writers try to make real life couples be together on the show just because of their relationship i mean sometimes it works cuz i guess its so real but i mean now they are just forcing a story line that everyone is so tired of seeing just to make it a triangle and then just so they can act like a couple on tv just hate! Nate and Serena belong together and they haven't had a full story line develop like blair and chuck and it sucks cuz i want to see them get that far i guess its has it plus that we wont get annoyed off them and there story wont repeat so i guess thats a sign that Serena will end up with nate final season but i hope that by then we get to seem have problems and argue and get back with no dan in the way or any other guy hopefully serena really ties her self down to nate so we can see there relationship grow and conquer like chuck and bliar has
