Following the likes of Taylor Swift, Sia revealed on Tuesday that her next album

is going to be “more pop” than what fans are used to.

In an interview with NME, the singer confirmed that she’s finished work on

 because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn’t go in thinking ‘this is something I would say,’” she said. “It’s more like play-acting. It’s fun.” (Sia has written songs for the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Flo Rida, Ed Sheeran, and more.) 

Famous for hiding her face, or even entire self (here’s looking at you Kristen Wiig!), during performances, Sia discusses the potential of performing live elsewhere in the interview, which will be available in full on Wednesday.
