I didn't even know there was a book! I had better read that...

Read it first, so compared the movie to it. Was good but varied a bit.

i liked the movie over the book. tristran died in the book! i was like WTF. i like the more hinted likings of each other, more than the book. though i didn't like how tritran grew old in the movie. the book is fantastic though

I didn't like the very ending, when their children are all around them. I found it was much better in the book. Getting old is a natural thing.

their children didnt end up around them in the movie ... that was an alternate ending... i like the movie without it but i havent read the book
