An ora later, when Daphne’s arm was in plaster, someone knocked on the door and Zoey appeared. Her nose was still red, but she didn’t look so angry anymore. She stuck out her hand and made some movements with them like she was doing mime.
“What are te doing?” Daphne asked frowning.
“Just checking the vibes, that’s all” Zoey answered. She looked at her sister. “Seriously, is it sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza in here o should I get myself a helmet?”
Daphne rolled her eyes and waved her good arm. Zoey walked towards the bed.
“So, the window, huh?” Zoey detto kind of impressed. “Guess he’s not a total WIMP”
Daphne raised her left eyebrow. “You make it sound like I should be proud of him”
“Well, at least now te have something to hold against him” Zoey said. “And he’ll have to do all the chores”
“No” Daphne shook her head. “I don’t want to see him ever again”
Zoey sank down on the letto and took Daphne’s hand. “Sweetie, te have to be honest here. te weren’t really nice to him. He didn’t do anything wrong. He didn’t know. If te want to blame someone, blame me. I’m the one who took him there”
Daphne shook her head again. “That still doesn’t excuse his behavior. I want a divorce”
“You don’t mean that” Zoey detto soft.
“I do” Daphne sobbed.
“Don’t make any rushed decisions now” Zoey reasoned. “You should talk to him, give him the chance to say he’s sorry”
“No, you’d have to call him and he doesn’t know how to use a phone” Daphne said.
“Actually there’s no need for that” Zoey said. She averted her head to the door. “You can come in now”
The door opened and Cas came in. Daphne grabbed Zoey’s arm. “Get him out of here. I don’t want to see him”
“Daphne, please listen to me” Cas begged.
Daphne rotated her head to Cas. “Leave me alone. I don’t want anything to do with you. Get out!” she screamed.
“Daphne, calm down” Zoey detto sharp. “Emmanuel, te are not leaving until this is sorted out”
“How can te take his side after what he did? He tried to kill me!” Daphne cried.
“I’m just trying to save your marriage” Zoey said. She looked at Cas. “Say you’re sorry” she ordered as if she was talking to a three year-old.
Cas opened his mouth to say the words when the door was busted and two police men came in. They both aimed a gun at Cas.
“Mr. Allen? I arrest te for deliberate assault and battery. te have the right to remain silent. Everything te say can and will be held against te in a court of law. te have the right to speak to an attorney. If te cannot afford an attorney, one will be pointed for you” the closest one grinded out. He cuffed Cas’ hands. “Do te understand these rights as they have been detto to you?”
Not waiting his answer they pulled him to the open door and left.
Zoey rotated her head shocked to Daphne. “What the hell just happened?”

Dean stared at his car, his mouth wide open, unable to speak.
“What?” he detto shocked. “Baby, what have they done to you?”
“Dean” Sam said, elbowing him and pointing at the entrance of the hospital. Meg came outside and walked towards.
“I saw te two from the window” she explained.
“Why are te wearing Cas’ clothes?” Sam asked.
“Long story” Meg replied.
“And what the hell did te and Cas do with my car?” Dean demanded to know, though part of him wished she wouldn’t answer. Unfortunately she did.
“We fucked” Meg detto smug. The look on Dean’s face was priceless. “And Cas bled on the front seat. Speaking of Cas, he’s fine. Thanks for asking”
Dean had the courtesy to look ashamed.
“Eh, yeah, I just wanted to ask” he mumbled.
“Follow me” Meg said. “I’ll explain everything inside”

One week later.
Heather was sitting da Meg’s bed. A week had gone da and Meg hadn’t opened her eyes once. The doctor had told her she was not in a coma, but just fast asleep. She would live. It was just a matter of time before she woke up.
Cas was less lucky. Someone had tried to kill him again, but fortunately there was a camera in the room and so the doctors could interfere just in time. Heather couldn’t help but wonder if keeping Cas alive wasn’t just extension of execution.
She felt something soft and cold on her arm and she looked down to see Meg’s finger moving.
“Meg?” she said.
Meg’s eyelids moved and slowly, but surely she opened them.
“Welcome back” Heather sighed relieved.
Meg tried to sit up, but Heather gently pushed her down again.
“Careful” she said. “I’ll go get a doctor” She hurried to the door and walked outside to call a doctor.
