I'm going with God on this one. It wouldn't make sense for Lu to resurrect Cas immmediately after he was freed out of Hell. His first priority would to find his vessel as we saw. Castiel hasn't rebelled against Heaven but against his brothers, there's abig difference. I think God did it, I believe all this was a test to see which angels are loyal to Him and who else than Castiel?

I think it might end up being Anna.I'm sure I read somewhere that she is coming back in a episode.
I also think that there is something not quite right about Castiel.

Hmmm. I'm still confused about who was brought back and such. SO i'm guessing god hear but i'm thinking it was another angel or somthinn.

I just think that if God bothered to bring Castiel back then where the hell is he? He's still not around? What is he waiting for, the right time to strike?
But Lucifer has had the opportune moment. He knows Castiel is going to search for God and he's a rebellious angel. He needs those.
And Lucifer put Dean and Sam on that plane. I think Lucifer knows that Dean is Michael's vessel and saved him because he knows Dean won't allow anyone to possess him. And he saved Sam and cleaned him up to use him as his vessel.
That's what I think and I think it makes sense... for now, but I guess we'll see where they take it.

I still don't think it was lucifer. I just think Raphiel was just being a b**** to Cas coz he trapped him lol Plus Cas believes it was God and I believe in Cas even IF in the end it was actually Lucifer who raised him i'd still be like but Cas said it was God so it was God lol

2 mysterious things happened at the same time. 1) sam & dean were transported from the site of lucifer's rising safely to a plane
2) castiel was brought back

we know Lucifer did not transport sam & dean away, because he said sam was "supposed to be there" and when lu's preferred vessel wasn't present, he sough out nick.

even if one thinks that Lucifer brought back Castiel, a large mysterious force is at play in #1. if it is God, then he is involved enough to make interventions while still remaining anonymous. if God would do #1 i see no reason why he wouldn't do #2.

i think it is one force or person who moved sam and dean to safety and brought back cas. if it is not god, i do not know who it is but i do not think it is lucifer. however, my money's on god. almost any other force powerful enough to do this, would have wanted lucifer to take sam as his vessel because both heaven and hell wants the apocalypse to get started and for sam and dean to assume their "roles."
