Samantha 25

When I got home, I went straight upstairs and took a shower. The doccia helped me relax some but seeing Oakley was a surprise and seeing him was shocking. I know I couldn't handle anything else tonight so I dried my hair and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning the sun was shining through my window and it made me smile. Alice came skipping into my room and Rose followed. 
Good morning. Alice chirped. 
I didn't feel like getting up my shoulder was throbbing in pain along with my lower leg. The wounds still hadn't healed from where I had gotten shot da the hunter. 
I don't want to get up. I groaned. 
We weren't coming in here to tell te that school is canceled again. Rose said. 
Then why are te in here? I asked. 
Oakley is taking te home. Alice said. 
I'm not leaving. I said. 
Yes te are. Emmett detto walking into my room. 
Please no. I've finally made a new friend and now y'all are shipping me off. I said. 
We're not shipping te off. Emmett said.
Then why are y'all packing me up when I'm not leaving. I said. 
te have to go home. Rose said. 
Give me one reason. I said. 
I don't want to tell te now. Jasoer detto walking into my room. 
I could sense the grief in his eyes. 
What happen? I asked. 
They didn't answer. 
What happen. I demanded. 
Your parents were in a car accident. Jasper said. 
My world had completely just feel apart. 
Are they okay? Are they alive? I detto coking on the last word. 
Your mom is in the hospital and your dad is fine. Jasoer said. 
Is she okay? I detto as tears were streaming down my face. 
She is in a coma. Rose said. 
I jumped up pulled my duffel bag out and started throwing all of my clothes in it. I was crying harder and harder until I couldn't tell what I was packing. I zipped the duffel bag up and threw it down stairs. 
Oakley. I tried yelling.
Samantha, it's going to be okay. Oakley detto as he ran towards me. 
How do te know? I asked. 
Because mom always pulls through. He said. 
Let's go. I said. 
Oakley grabbed my bag and we headed for the front door. I detto goodbye to everyone and hugged them all. Oakley drove faster than ever to the airport. I got there and realized that I was still in my pajamas and hadn't even combed my hair. 
It's okay. Were on a private jet so te can get ready while we are flying. Oakley told me. 
We didn't even have to go through security to get to our plane. We boarded and took off as soon as possible. I got ready and sat on the sofa. I pulled my knees to my chest and buried my face in my hands. Oakley came up and hugged me. 
I've been horrible towards mom and dad. I said. 
te have every right to be. He said. 
I have dissipointed them and this was my punishment. I said. 
While te were gone mom and dad talked about te constantly. They detto that te were an amzing surfer but te needed to learn to pay più attention to the surf. Oakley told me. 
te remember everything? I asked. 
Yeah, when we were younger after the accident, everything. He said. 
How have te been? I asked. 
Good, I've been surfing a while bunch and hanging out with my girlfriend. He said. 
Cool. I said. 
What about you? He asked. 
Surfing and hospital trips. I told him. 
What did te do? He asked. 
Well I broke my shoulder and then I got shot in my shoulder and lower part of my leg. I said. 
How did te get shot? He asked. 
I was running through the woods in my lupo and a hunter happened to be hunting. He shot my twice but I got away. I said. 
Can I see where? He asked. 
I pulled up my pants leg up and then I untaped the badage. 
Oh, that's so cool. It's all puffy. He said. 
I just laughed. 
Does it hurt? He asked. 
Only if I exercise o surf. I said. 
I want to see te shoulder. Oakley said. 
I pulled my camicia off of my shoulder and reveled the hole. 
How did te run back to the house? He asked. 
I ran for an ora trying to get far away from the hunter and then I just turned back and ran towards the house. I told him. 
So it took te two hours to get tithe house? He ssaid. 
Yep pretty much. I said. 
Dang. He said.
We landed within an ora o two and headed straight for the hospital. I went and hugged dad and went directly into the room where mom was. I started crying immedantly when I saw her. She was always so strong and to see her helplessly lying in the bed, killed me. 
Oh mom. I'm so sorry about everything. I shouldn't have been so mean. I said. 
Samantha, this has nothing to do with you. Dad told me. I should be telling te sorry. He continued. I sent te away without te surfboard, that was your lfe. I'm sorry. 
It's okay daddy. I said. 
I sat in the corner of Mom's room and leaned my head against the wall. I stayed in the same spot all night. I didn't want to leave and my dad didn't make me. When I woke up I heard Oakley and dad talking. I sat there for a minuto and listened to Oakley talk about me. He kept saying how such a good surfer I was and a good climber but how sleepless I looked. I guess I hadn't really slept that well sinse Oakley and I hadn't spoken. They finally quiet talking and I acted lke I was waking up and when I did my cellphone started buzzing. I looked at the caller i.d. and it detto that Sam was calling me. I jumped up and walked outside. 
Hello. I said. 
Samantha, where are you? I've been worried sick when te didn't mostra up at school. Sam said. 
I'm fine. I had to come home, my mom and dad were in a car accident. I said. 
Are they okay? He said 
My dad is fine but my mom is in the hospital. I said. 
Oh Samantha, I'm so sorry. He said. 
Yeah me too. I said.  How has school been?
Aweful, I think the teachers hate me because I know everything, they are teaching. He said. 
Hey, I never got to ask te this but how old are you? I said. 
Two hundred. He said. 
Wow. Your old. I said. 
I know, don't tease me about please. He said. 
Sorry. I said. 
It's fine, I just like to think that I'm still 17. He said. 
I laughed. 
Samantha, what would te say if I told te that I could see. He said. 
I think I would start to flip out. I said 
Well te better start because I can see you. He detto mysteriouly. 
Funny quit messing around. I said. 
Are te frightened da that? He asked. 
Yeah I am. I don't like people stalking me. I said. 
Well just look behind you. He said. 
I looked behind me and Sam was leaning against a tree. 
Hey. What are te doing here? I asked. 
I wondered where te went so I asked your family a favor. He said. 
I ran up to him and wrapped my arms around his neck and he lifted me off the ground giving me a hug. 
Missed te too. He said. 
I'm just glad to see you. I said. 
Your so beautiful. He said. 
Thank you, I know this guy who is really hot but he is always so cold. I said. 
That's me right. He said. 
Of course, I don't know anyone else. I said.
Good, just checking. He said.
I started thinking how dad was going to react to Sam. 
It'll be okay. Sam said. 
I looked at him totally confused. 
Samantha, te are so blonde. te forget almost everything. He said. 
I do not. I said. 
Okay not everything but most of them. He said. 
Fine, I need to go back inside.  I said. 
Sam grabbed my hand and pulled me back to where he was standing. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him. I just stared into his eyes. He had the most amazing blue eyes. 
Are te wearing contacts? I asked. 
Yeah, pretty cool eh. He said. 
Yeah there- Sam cut me off in mid sentenced and kissed me. I pulled away fom him breathless. I just stared into his eyes again and then we went inside the hospital.
Dad, Oakley. This is Sam. I said. 
Samantha, come here. Dad told me. 
It's okay dad. He's like the Cullens. Be nice. I demanded. 
Nice to met you. Oakley detto sticking his hand out. 
Same here. Sam said. 
te have a very polite daughter, Mr. Fanning. Sam said. 
Thank you. My dad said. 
Oakley and dad sat back down da moms letto while Sam and I went and sat in the corner where I was sitting before. Sam wrapped his arm around me trying to comfort me. 
Thanks. I thought. 
Sam nodded his head to let me know that he heard me.
I ended up falling asleep on Sam's shoulder and when I woke up it was dark outside. 
I think, I'm going home and taking a shower. I told dad.  
Okay be careful. He said. 
Amore you. I said. 
Amore you. He said. 
Oakley was asleep so I just left him to sleep. 
Sam drove the car home and I didn't talk much because I was still so tire.
