That way I can see all the names of all the actors in the show I'm watching.

Depends on the show, but most of the shows I like have an opening credit and it doesn't bother me.

For the same reason as eline-kerpels. I know the all the actors after a while, and that way I don't have to look it up. Sometimes, on shows with no opening credits I don't know the name of my favorite character's actor after months of watching :P
....plus they're just cool.

Sometimes I like opening credits but I prefer them when they're not really long and introducing every actor.

I don't mind if they are missing, because my favorite show doesn't have them, but the opening is still awesome! :D
But I like to hear the theme songs see the actors' names and stuff :)

It depends on the show. Some shows are better without them. I like seeing the actors' names and singing (horribly, I might add) along to the theme songs when there are cedits. If I'm re-watching on DVD then the opening credits get old fast, but then I just skip them, so it's all good. :)

well mostly with credits, but there is one show which is better without it - Lost ;p
