The successivo couple of days passed in a blur of practising what Brian had advised. The boys played their songs in their hotel room, and in between they practised speaking to an imaginary audience the way he had detto they should. At first, the foursome all took turns doing this, but Paul loved being the one to speak to the fan so much that he started taking più and più turns, until at last his bandmates decided to just let Paul do all the talking on stage.
On the giorno after their adventure in the department store, Brian took the boys to get haircuts. He advised them to all pick the same hairstyle: "It'll be good for your image if te match." The lads decided on long bangs and hair that fell all around their heads, reaching for their collars. This was their first haircut in over a mese for all of them, so even though none of them except Geo had had particularly long hair before, the effect of the new hairstyles could be seen right away. Of course, having long hair was più daring than the "clean-cut" look Brian was always telling them to try for, but Brian liked their choice. "The girls will Amore it. te look very attractive like this."
The giorno after that, a package arrived for the lads at their hotel room. It was the Suits Brian had ordered for them. The boys tried them on, Winston complaining about having to exchange his black leathers for a suit, but smiling the entire time, so his mates knew he didn't really mind. The Suits were grey and had no collars, and there were also four dress shirts for the lads to wear with them. In their new outfits with their new haircuts, the boys looked più handsome and appealing than ever before.
In between practising for their successivo calesse, concerto and improving their image, the lads tried to find a good band name. While playing a game of cards one night, Paul and Geo debated whether a playing card would make a good name - maybe the Black Jacks o the Diamond Kings - o the Four Suits, Winston added, because of their new clothing - but Ringo and Winston didn't seem to go for any of these. Ringo still really wanted to use "beat" somewhere in their name, and Winston still preferred his idea of naming the band after an insect to anything else.
With so much to do that could be done right from their hotel room, the boys found they didn't go outside very often during those couple of days - which was a good thing, because their parents had boarded a flight to New York the very evening of the giorno they found out Paul had really gone there. Because of the time-zone difference, they landed there on the same giorno - the giorno Brian had told his young charges not to go playing random gigs in department stores anymore. The Harrisons and Mr McCartney had been to see the airport security and the police, and the Harrisons had brought a photograph of George for the police to use on wanted posters. Mr McCartney had brought a photograph of Paul along, too, for the same.
The parents stuck to Mrs Harrison's theory that their sons had been forced to remain in New York da a pair of dangerous teddy boys, aka Ringo and Winston. It was easier for them to believe this than to think their sons would actually choose to stay away from them for this long. It also made the three parents angry and hysterical, and desperate for the boys to be caught. The police had been on the lookout for the mysterious British band, patrolling all the places they might come to perform and alerting all managers to hold them for the police if they were found, but of course the band had stopped playing random gigs and was never found.
On the third day, the giorno after the four lads had received their suits, Brian came to their hotel room looking very happy.
"Boys! I've found someone who wants to hire te to perform at a dance tonight. You've got your first gig!"

*Disclaimer: This is my teacher's words. It's her story from her childhood, I'm just repeating it. This is her story. :)

So, my sixth grade teacher revealed to my class one giorno that she had met George Harrison when she was a kid. This is how her story to us went.
Her late father was a missionary and basically traveled all over the world so my teacher and her sister (who was also my teacher in college) pretty much lived everywhere. And in 1963 they finally made it back to America and while living there they reconnected with a couple they had befriended in England. And according to her while they...

The Beatles took their girlfriends out for a fancy cena in a nice restaurant with dark, secluded tables where no one could see them to bother them. All four Beatles felt a little uncomfortable in the back of their minds, knowing this was the first time they had even not shown up when their fan were expecting to see them. But sitting here in the candlelight with their best girls, these thoughts seemed somehow unimportant, and were pushed aside.
“Let’s go back and get the car,” Paul said, as they stepped out into the chilly night air a few hours later. “I can drive us up to your house.”...

For the rest of their week in town, the Beatles spent every free minuto with their new girlfriends. They took long walks in the chilly late-fall air, the Beatles holding their girlfriends’ hands after receiving cool nods of permission. This activity, though, meant that the fan could see them, and many of them made it clear that they were not happy about the Beatles’ choice of girlfriend at all.
“Stupid girls,” muttered Emily again, as she and John passed a small crowd of teenagers who glared at Emily and cast pleading looks at John.
“These ignorant teenagers should be locked away for...

Paul hoped the subject of names wouldn't come up again; the whole thing was making him very uncomfortable. He didn't like having to pretend like this, but he didn't see what else he could do. He steered the conversation to anything else that popped into his head as he, Ringo, and Winston took their adjoining seats on the plane. Winston grinned at these increasingly random topics with a teasing expression, and Paul, hastily casting his mind around for a topic that would be completely natural to bring up, said, "Do te like rock-and-roll music, Ringo?"
Ringo perked up. "I Amore it! That's what...
