Finally finished Leggere all the libri da all the Bronte sisters! Whoo, glad that's done. Anne's definitely my favorite, but I like Emily and (mostly) Charlotte, too.
One thing I REALLY didn't like, though, was carlotta, charlotte xenophobia, English nationalism/jingoism and anti-Catholicism. I'm sorry, but she was a fucking bigot, and there were times Leggere her libri that I wanted to go back in time and bitch-slap her for being a dick.

i have decided to, in principle commit myself in holy union with the spirit of what the bronte sisters represent to me. the libri are moral, nonsexist and they contain extremely high wisdom. it is from an age that is long dead when people had honor and were dignified. they will be the only libri i will read for the rest of my life. postato più di un anno fa
