All the companions of the lovely Eleventh Doctor have made the most amazing impact on me but when it comes down to just one favourite above them all, it's clearly not easy. Not for me either... But well "GERONIMO!"

The wife of the Doctor and the daughter of his best friends. Ladies and gentlemen, it's Melody Pond also known as River Song. The first scene I saw with her, was in "A Good Man Goes To War" and I remember being just as confused as Amy and Rory when 11 made those kissing sounds about River. It was a good laugh but even though I had the same reaction to The Doctor marrying River Song as Amy had in "The Wedding Of River Song", I could in all truth never love the fact that Eleven ended up with her. Although the two were unpredictable, they were also different in a good way. It's just not enough for a top spot on my favourite list.

The boy who waited for the girl who waited for the Doctor. It's a strange title for Rory but that is in fact how I would describe him with as few words as possible. Now I admit I liked Rory from the beginning but it annoyed me a bit that he was married to Amy because I want(ed) her to be with The Doctor. I gotta say I did feel sorry for him whenever Amy looked in love with The Doctor even though I desired for the them to be together. Although after watching the episode "The Angels Take Manhattan", I could finally see why Amy stuck with Rory for so long and in the end to the day they died. "To save you, I could do anything" as quoted by Rory. As much as I'd love to place him as my favourite, it's unfortunately not true.

Oh Clara, my Clara. The impossible girl, what can I say about her other than she felt like an uncomfortable replacement in the beginning but when The 11th Doctor regenerated and practically "died", I started to love her. Not only because she was the last companion left from the Matt Smith era but also that she totally began to be funny. Maybe she had been from the beginning of her time but it truly shone when The 12th Doctor came along. The time she spend with Eleven was cute when I got used to her and they did indeed look cozy sometimes. No matter what time-period-Clara he met. Though she still isn't quite my favourite.

Amelia Pond, the girl who waited 12 years for a sad man in a blue box. Gotta love that girl and how committed she was. Never have I ever not wished to be her even just for one day. I can relate to her like no other on "Doctor Who" because I have myself, waited years for The Doctor. The story might not be as interesting as Amy's but I have, so every minute with the Ponds is worth a whole lot. Now 11 and beautiful Pond was never an item but when she seduced him, I was finding the moment totally awesome. Just simply how she tried to give him hints and he doesn't get it until she's all over him. Oh, that is unforgettable. Let alone that scene has made me desperate for more romance between them but I know, it's too late now. Amelia stands for me as the best companion The Eleventh Doctor ever had and the woman he had most chemistry with as well. Even more than he had with his wife and Amy's daughter, Melody Pond (River Song). I will never erase the scenes where The Doctor thinks Amy is dead including the one where she actually dies. He cried his eyes out. They will always be in each others hearts and that is why Amelia Jessica Pond is my favourite.
