Chapter 1♥

Shouts and cheers and horns blowing were to be heard all over albero Hill. Kids with banners were running all over town, celebrating their rolemodels' victory. A couple più games, all resulting in victory for the Ravens and they'll be off to the finals, with a chance of winning the state championship.

Nathan Scott was as usual hiding away, playing pallacanestro, basket with his Friends at the RiverCourt. He loved it. He did, but he had always wished he could be in that gym, playing in front of the big crowd, everybody cheering for him. Of course he couldn't because of one reason, his brother, Lucas Scott.

Lucas Scott was on his way to the beachhouse for the victory party. He had every right to celebrate, he was the one to make the winning shot! But he still felt like something was missing. 'Maybe it's because Brooke didn't make it for cheering..yeah,that's probably it', he thought to himself. But deep down he knew it was più than that.

Peyton Sawyer was in her room Lost in her art and music. She decided to stay home and not go to the game. Her dad had just left for another trip and cheering was the last thing she wanted to do. She decided to call Haley and ask her to come over. She could do with some best friend therapy.

Haley James had just finished her tutoring for the day. She was pleased with herself. She was sure that guy was going to do good on his English exam. She started walking home and felt her phone vibrating. It was a text message from Peyton. 'Can te come over? I need my best friend tonight'. She smiled to herself and turned towards Peyton's house.

Brooke Davis was at home, watching TV and eating cake. 'That's it! No più feeling sorry for myself, he didn't call me but I'm going to call him'. She grabbed her phone and dialled Lucas' number. beeep,beeep,beeep..great. He wasn't picking up. Of course, he's probably already drunk da now and forgotten the big fight he had with her the giorno before.

And in the Tutoring Center was Julian Baker. He had just had a fight with his mother, probably the only friend he had right now besides the students he were tutoring. If he could even call them friends. He knew he probably should get back home and make things right with his mother but he couldn't, not after what had happened.

Everyone has something that makes them like somebody else sometimes. Wishes that seem too impossible to come true, mistakes trying to be forgiven, loneliness, that feeling te get when te help somebody, choices and decisions te have to make...fear. Look around and you'll find that there's someone out there who's going through the same things as you.
