Il Re Leone

After all this waiting I finally saw The Lion King 2019 remake last night and I have to say while it wasn't as amazing o breathtaking as the original, it was still a good remake. For this review I will focus on three things: The parts of this movie I loved, what I was neutral on, and what I hated.

Loved:

The opening was done shot for shot to bring back nostalgia for the fan and honestly I did not hate that. The opening chant was even exactly the same! fan grew up with the opening from The Lion King, making memes, Canto along, and even hearing the opening song just...

So, here is my comparison on both the animated version and its live-action reboot. Ready?

The Story

While the majority of the story is the same, there are a couple of changes in the story, like we get to see più of Scar, Sarabi and Nala shortly after Simba was exiled and Mufasa's death. (Tied)

The Characters

One thing that I am very impressed is that both Nala and Sarabi have più character developments in this reboot. I am very happy for her independence and bravery throughout the entire film. (2019 Version)
Scar on the other hand, is very much like King Stefan from Maleficent despite that...

In pride rock Scar is eating his full leg of a antilope as he gets flashbacks of him eating with his family o just his mother which Mufasa and his father was the ones to eat together. Scar stops eating and sighs Scar:"(sigh) why must sorrow flashbacks haunt me now" he says to himself not having the appetite to eat anymore. Scar then sneaks to the very superiore, in alto of pride rock where the only way up is to take a slanted path behind pride rock, once he got up there he takes a look at the very slowly drying up kingdom then at the grey colorless sky.
