I e-mailed this to NBC's website. I encourage everyone to boycott internet feeds of Televisione episodes until the strike is over.
"Dear NBC,
For the past year, I have thoroughly enjoyed the privilege of watching episodes of my preferito shows on your website. I found it to be incredibly convenient, especially since I work in the evenings and occassionally have to miss an airing of one of my preferito shows (Heroes and The Office superiore, in alto that list, da the way). I was so pleased with your website that I was even willing to sit through those annoying commercials te force me to watch. And I ESPECIALLY loved the fact that te play the same commercial roughly 4 o 5 times per episode (at least on TV, we get some variety).
Then, I found out that the writers, actors, and directors... basically, the people who are responsible for those wonderful episodes that you've made so much money from, don't get a cut of any of the ad revenue from internet showings of their own creations.
I have to wonder where that kind of logic comes from. Did it ever even occur to te that without writers, there is no mostra in the first place? That maybe they deserve some comensation for their hard work? What te have done da withholding revenue from these people is simple theft. You've taken their work, made money from it, and refused to pay them for it. And what exactly have te network executives done to deserve these revenues? You're the same people that overloaded my Televisione with Deal o No Deal (and I still haven't forgiven te for that, FYI).
Therefore, until the writer's strike has been resolved and the people who are really behind Heroes, The Office, and all the other shows that I Amore so much are receiving fair compensation for their work, I will not be viewing any episodes from your website.
te can't make money from the internet if no one's watching."
