“Daddy, do I look ok?” Grace asks. I put down my newspaper to look at my 15 anno old daughter. Wow.
“You look beautiful, sweetheart.” It pained me to see her going on her first date. But I was smiling.
“I’ll be good, Daddy, I promise.”
I grin. Exactly what her mother detto to her dad on our first date.
“I know.” I manage to say. “You’re a good kid.”
“Not like Faith,” Grace grins. Oh my Faith. Nine years old and already had a “boyfriend”. She was completely hilarious.
“Not like Faith.” I smile.
I get up off the divano to give her a hug.
“I Amore te Daddy.”
“Love te too, sweetheart.”
“You’re still going to be the first boy I fell in Amore with.”

Darry’s P.O.V
“Daddy?” Danny asks from the back seat. He was six now, and Olivia was one.
“What happened to your mommy and daddy?” He asks.
I don’t answer for a minute, just keep driving. What do I say?
“My mommy and daddy are hanging out in heaven.” Is all I can think of to say.
“They’re partying with Jesus?” Danny asks. “That’s cool!”
“Yeah, bud,” I smile. “Partying with Jesus.”
“Yes I do.” She says in that you’ve-told-me-a-million-times voice.
“Ok… Well are te sure te want to do this?” I ask nervously.
“I’m positive.” She says as she gives me a quick baciare on the lips.
“I swear, if te hurt yourself…” I shake my head.
The motorcycle starts, and goes forward. Instead of going with the motorcycle., she flips off backwards from it.
I immediately rush to (Y/N).
“Oh my god, (Y/N), are te ok? Are te hurt? Where are te hurt?” I say, head spinning. If she’s hurt badly I’ll just…
“Dally I’m fine.. The motorcycle-“
“Steve can fix the motorcycle. Are te ok? Where are te hurt? Do we need to go to the hospital?”
“Dally I’m fine!” She laughs.
“You worry me,” I say, as I scoop her into a hug.
te aren’t exactly sure what you’re humming to… But it’s something.
“Hey, (Y/N), have te seen my-” “THUD!” te rip open the doccia curtain to see your boyfriend had tripped over the doorway.
“Oh my god, Two-Bit, are te ok?!?” te gasp.
He looks up at you. “Oh my god you’re in the shower!” He yells.
te yank the curtain back, covering yourself up.
“Two-Bit, are te ok honey?”you ask.
“After seeing that I’m not.” He says. “Damn, your beautiful.” He says, blushing.
“What a pig.” te laugh.
“(Y/N), please stay out of this.” Darry says, eyes still locked on his younger brother.
“She has a point.” Ponyboy snorts.
“Don’t use that tone with me, young man.” Darry says, voice raised.
“Who went and made te dad?” Ponyboy asked, shrugging his shoulders.
“You take that back.” Darry says, lunging for Ponyboy.
They start beating up on each other, nothing serious. Brothers will be brothers.
“Hey! Knock it off!” te say, trying to separate them on the ground.
Smack!
te fall back, the hit getting te hard.
The boys freeze, realizing they’ve hit you.
“Ow!” te say. “That was my boob!”
They burst out laughing.
“Oh my god, Steve. Your eye.” te say as te remove the ice pack.
“It’s just bump.” He grins.
“A bump? Honey, it’s a huge black eye. It’s più like an egg.” te say.
“Old Man can still pack a punch, huh?”
“Steve, te need to get out of there.” te say matter-of-factly.
“I got nowhere to go.”
“You can stay with the Curtises. o me. I just don’t like seeing te hurt.” te whisper.
“I’d rather it be me than you.” He says.
“What?” He asks, glancing over at you.
“You’re gonna get pulled over,” te say, rolling your eyes.
“Do te think I’d care?” He laughed.
“Dallas Winston, I am shocked and appalled te just detto that to me and ran that red light.” te laugh. “I’m horrified at your driving skills. Remind me not to get into a car with te again.”

Light cracked the sky open. The crash that followed jolted te awake. te sit up in your bed, wide eyed with fear.
te had been afraid of thunderstorms since te were little… something about it just frightened te to no end.
The sound of your boyfriend breathing calmed te down. The rhythmic deep breathing soothed you, only for a second.
Another crack lit up the sky, with a giant boom that followed.
“Dally.” te shake your boyfriend awake.
“Babe… what’s the ma-” He stops as he sees your eyes, wide with fear. He sits up straight and wraps his arms around te pulling te close. “You’re fine… You’re fine.” He whispers, rocking te back and forth. “I got you. I promise. I got you.” Hands running through your hair.
“I just don’t like them.” te mumble into his bare chest.
“I know. I know.” He say. “But I still got you. I promise.”
But te were already asleep again.
