Elena was lying on a hospital, surrounded da her friends. She was awake and a little annoyed.
“I’m fine, I want to go home” she said.
“You fainted, Elena. te need to slow down a bit” Caroline detto bossy.
“I just have a low blood pressure, which is no surprise” Elena detto pointing at her neck.
“Well, the doctor wants te to stay here for the night” Stefan said. “And I agree with him”
“This is a conspiracy” Elena detto grumpy.
“We can stay if te want” Jeremy suggested.
“And stop me from leaving, right” Elena said, figuring her brother out. “No, te can all leave, so I can fall asleep and this night can be over and I can go home again”
“I really think someone should stay here” Stefan insisted.
“I’ll do it” Katherine said, getting inside.
“Perfect, te can all go. My ancestor will make sure I don’t sposta a muscle” Elena said.
“Are te sure?” Alaric asked.
“Yes” Elena said. “Katherine will take very good care of me, won’t you, Katherine?”
“Of course” Katherine detto obvious.
“Alright then” Alaric said. They started moving outside. At the door Stefan turned around. “Call me when te have the results of your test”
Elena nodded. They closed the door. “Finally” she sighed. “Can te put on the TV?” Katherine did what she asked and tuned in on the news.
“The car was on fire, but they were able to get the victim out of the car. The doctor’s tried to do CPR, but the victim had died before help arrived”
“Elena” Katherine said. She looked at her doppelganger, whose eyes were fixated on the screen.

She bent on her knees and her hands glided over the earth. She didn’t know what she was going to find, but a strong feeling inside of her told her there was something underneath the earth. Something she needed to find.
And so she started digging with her hands. Soon her hands were wounded and dirty, but she just kept digging.
She carried on for what seemed like hours, her hands bleeding, until her fingers touched something solid. She dug faster and più fiercely, until she saw the object. When she saw Damon’s body she couldn’t breathe anymore. She covered her mouth and tears rolled over her face. She was too late.
She pulled him out of the pit and held him in her arms.
