of course she is a good friend. after she lied to Elena about removing the spell from the invention, she had regrets and fears that Elena would hate her if she understands the truth. also, in the finale, she said she accepts Stefan as Elena's boyfriend even though her grandma died because of them two and Damon.
she is ways better friend than Elena, who always hides something from somebody.
