The West Wing Domanda

What happened to Sam Seaborn?

I know that once Will Bailey won the represenative election in the California 47th, and Sam left to represent the dead candidate, but do we ever learn who won? What happened?

Well Rob Lowe left the mostra cause he wanted it to be più about him... which was a mistake at firat but probably worked left since Sorkin left after season 4. He did come back cause he loved the show. Those are the real life reason's anyway. He got beat bad in the 47th lol

Martin Sheen was making 300 grand per episode and the rest of the senior staff cast was making 75 grand per episode. Rob Lowe wanted più money and the mostra wouldn't budge, so he walked. Very unlike Sam.

He comes back in the Seventh Season, but he leaves to run for office in arancia, arancio County because he promised Will he would. After he is defeated, he finds another job, back in the legal world.

That was so anoying. He assumingly leaves to be a lawyer again but it is so out of character. If they knew Rob Lowe was leaving they could have dato him a real place to go. Sam hated being a standard lawyer hence him getting into politics, and there were all those hints that he would one giorno do great things, like when they're playing chess and the president says to him 'you'll run for president one giorno sam' . That was such a silly story line and could so easily have been tied up better.

Sam ended up coming back on board to be Josh's Deputy Chief of Staff and the way that Josh worded it was: "You're me to my Leo." Josh flew out to California to meet up with Sam and try to convince him. Everything that Josh did in "Transition" was similar to what he did back when he was joining the Bartlett campaign after leaving the Hoynes campaign.
