“Mommy’s last name is Newman right now but ours is Abbott since we gave te my last name. Once we get married, Mommy will change hers to match ours. My grandmother and both of Mommy’s grandparents are still alive so your great-grandparents are living.”
As Kyle was talking to Nicole and telling her about their families which were hers as well, Summer forgot that she still had her cellphone on which ended up ringing. “Hello? I’m in New York with Kyle right now and we’re with Nicole. What’s up?” Kyle heard Summer talking on her phone.
“Summer? Dad is planning on having a 50th anniversary party for Newman Enterprises and we need te to come to the party since you’re a Newman. There’s one thing that I have to tell te and that is your mother and I are back together.” Nick told her.
“I understand that I’m a Newman, Dad. I will be attending the party with Kyle and Nicole. I’m in shock at the fact that Mom and te are back together. How did this happen?” Summer told Nick.
“I accept your relationship with Kyle and that he will be my son-in-law once again. All I have ever wanted is for te to be happy and I now know that Kyle makes te happy plus he is my granddaughter’s father and will be the father of the rest of your children. I will inform your grandparents that te will be attending the anniversary party with Kyle and Nicole. As for your mother and I, our situation was exactly the same as your situation with Kyle.”
After hanging up with Nick, Summer looked at Kyle who was in awe at what she had detto to her father in regards to them and their daughter. “Dad has finally realized what I’ve known all along and what Grandpa has been trying to make him see which is that te make me happy Kyle. He sees that te are Nicole’s father and will be the father to the other children that we will have in addition to her. I’ve also just discovered that my parents are back together and that apparently their situation was the same as ours.”
“I’m glad that Nick has come to terms with and understands our relationship. The good thing about that is he will walk te down the aisle on our wedding giorno and I know now that I have his blessing to marry te even though we are already engaged. I wasn’t expecting to find out that your parents were back together just like I’m sure te weren’t expecting that either.”
While hearing her parents talk, Nicole was a little confused since she had yet to meet her grandparents and the other people who were not only family to her parents but also her as well. Despite the fact that she hadn’t met any of these people, the one thing she wanted was to see the childhood pictures of her parents that her mother had brought with them. “Could te mostra me the childhood pictures of Daddy and te that te brought, please Mommy?” Nicole asked.
“Of course, I’ll mostra te our childhood pictures. Your father and I have known each other a long time and there is one story in particular that we Amore to share with people. The first time that Daddy and I ever danced together was in a play that I was putting on where he was the prince and I was the princess.” Summer answered.
“What play was that?”
“It was Cinderella. Daddy likes to say that I made him dance with him but I like to remind him that everyone knows the prince and princess dance together before they get married. Here is the childhood foto of us that I found and framed for Daddy which I gave him on his birthday.”
“Summer? My birthday was the giorno I realized deep down in my cuore the truth which is that I was still in Amore with te and never got over te like I had thought before. te are the only woman for me and I’m sorry that it took me so long to accept it.” Kyle replied.
The one thing both of them knew was that they needed to start making plans to build their dream house on the property Victor had gifted them as well as a wonderful room for Nicole which would be done after they arrived back in Genoa City. Victoria, Nick, Abby, and Adam knew that they needed to work together to find the perfect gifts to give Victor for the Newman Enterprises 50th anniversary bash that he was planning and talk about the situation involving Summer. “How do te feel about Summer’s revelation that she has a daughter she never told te o us about, Nick?” Victoria asked.
“Dad was right when he detto that the four of us probably would have tried to stop him from giving them the land. I understand Summer’s reasoning for not telling me when she found out she was pregnant but I also don’t understand why she didn’t tell me after it was proven that I was actually her father. I have a granddaughter that I never knew about plus missed out on spoiling like a grandfather should and the three of te have a great-niece, although Abby is doubly related to my granddaughter.” Nick informed his siblings.
“We have to figure out the perfect gifts for Dad to give him at this anniversary party. I have an idea but I want to know what the three of te think.” Adam stated.
“What is your idea, Adam?” Abby asked.
“I say we double team and diviso, spalato up on giving Dad the gifts. As Dad’s older children, Victoria and Nick should team up together on one while te and I should team up on the other one since we’re his younger children, Abby.”
“That is a fabulous idea. We should let each other know what the gifts are so we make sure we don’t give him the same one. Let’s meet up at Crimson Lights after we’ve brainstormed so we can start making plans.”
“OK.”
“Let’s do it.”
“We should have no problem since we know what our father likes and what he doesn’t like.”
