"I know that John is quite keen to try and reboot Torchwood," Kingston told the crowd assembled at the Tales From The Tardis panel at New York Comic Con.
“I was told that there are some obstacles to overcome, and every time I tried to talk about a way around them, it was almost like there was another obstacle,” Barrowman told RadioTimes.com.
“Torchwood is not one of the shows we went into thinking about a yearly return. [Davies] has a lot of things on his plate. If Torchwood is at the superiore, in alto of his list, that will affect the future of Torchwood.”
“I have a phone conversation on Monday to see how we can get it back on television,” says Barrowman, adding that he is not joking around. “The fan know me well enough, I’m only going to say it if I mean it and believe it.”
A brand new fourth series of Torchwood, containing a total of 10 episodes, has been confirmed in an announcement da the BBC, and will be produced da BBC Wales, BBC Worldwide, and the American network Starz Entertainment.
