I know that this has nothing to do with Writing nor True Writers, but I feel that it is my priority to tell everyone on this club to join the Evan Gary club. Evan is an unfortunate kid who has been affected with leukemia. Evan was scared, but determined. After a couple months later in 2010, it was announced that Evan was cancer-free. But the truth was, his cancer grew again and spread. Evan's family is now in Maine waiting for Evan's blood pressure to go down, so that doctors can give him the bone-marrow transplant. I remember last year at my school there was a senior at my school (I have a school that's PK-12) and his name is Colt Brake. He was playing football on our team, and a visiting team had a player that tackled him and he broke some vertebrae. He flew down to the best hospital for that kind of problem where the fixed him right up, and last time I saw him, he had a wheel chair that he could control with his breathing. Certain puffs would control which way the chair would move. He was voted Prom King that year, as well as Homecoming King. He is doing better.
