I slowly walked down the alley, knowing what was waiting for me there. I saw a glint further on and realized it was the watch that Max always wore. I walked slower yet, what was coming up was inevitable.
I stared towards the spot I was walking.
"Hey, baby. I've been waiting for you."
Even though it was always the same with Max, I still shuddered when he called me that.
"Did te bring the $500.00 the boss told te to bring?"
"500? I was told $300."
"Who told te that?"
"You did, now here's the 300 you asked me for,"I detto emphasizing the you.
"I remember telling te 500, but if te go out with me, then I'll pay the other 200 for you."
"Why would I go out with you?"
"Because the boss will chew te out if te don't give him the full amount this week."
"Your not my type."
"But you're my type, hot, sexy, brunette, tall, those are what I need, not to mention te have a great figure. te look simply mouth-watering."
"Well I'm not going to."
"Oh, yeah?"
He grabbed my wrist and pushed me into the brick bacheca where I crumpled to the ground. Then I tried to scream, but he covered up my mouth. He crushed my arm against the bacheca and I heard a sickening snap. I tried to scream again, this time in agony, he slapped me across the face and banged my head into the wall. Then everything went black.
