Bella’s POV

Was I seeing this right? I wiped my eyes to see if I was seeing things correctly. Yep. Sure was. This was the last person I would expect to come save me.
    “Bella. Bella Swan?” he asked in the voice I remembered from the lat time I saw him.
    “Aro? What are te doing here?” I asked.
    Aro shot down the stairs in a second. He crouched in front of me.
    “I came here because our dear friend Lorenzo has broken the rules,” he said.
    “What did he do?” I asked.
    “He went hunting in Volterra a couple of years ago. Wait, what are te doing here? Shouldn’t te be with your dear Edward?” Aro asked.
    His name brought tears.
    “Yes. We were at a graduation party four months ago. But Lorenzo kidnapped me. I’ve been here for four months. He’s tortured me and I’m in so much pain. I want to go home, Aro,” I cried. I didn’t care if I didn’t like the Volturi. I buried my face in his chest and sobbed.
    “There, there, precious Bella. We’ll get te back to your Edward. I promise,” he said.
    “You will?” I asked looking up at him.
    “Of course. I keep my promises.”
    “Thank you, Aro,” I said.
    “You’re welcome. But I have a question.”
    “Yeah?” I asked.
    “Aren’t te suppose to be a vampire da now?” he asked.
    “Well, after the wedding, Edward was going to change me. Our wedding was three weeks away from the graduation, but Lorenzo kidnapped me. So it got post-poned,” I said.
    “Aahh, I see. Well, let’s get te home so te can see Edward. I’m sure te miss him,” Aro detto breaking the chains on my wrist.
    “So much. I was fixing to go crazy before te came. da the way, is it only te here?” I asked.
    “No. Caicus, Marcous, Jane, and Alex are here,” he said.
    “Oh,” I said.
    “Can te walk?” he asked.
    “No. He broke my foot, and I think some ribs, too,” I said.
    “Oh. Ouch? Well, precious Bella, I’ll carry you,” Aro said.
    “Thanks, Aro.”
    He picked me up and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He ran full speed up the stairs. There waiting was the other Volturi guard.
    “What is she doing here?” Caicus asked.
    “Our dear friend Lorenzo kidnapped her,” Aro said.
    “Please, I just want to go home. Can we please go,” I asked. I was becoming impatient. I was saved and I was ready to see Edward.
    “Sure, let’s go,” Aro said.
    “Wait. Where are we?” I asked.
    “We are just off an island south of Hawaii. It’s very difficult to find this place,” Aro said.
    “How long will it take to get back to Forks?” I asked.
    “About a giorno and a half. Just sleep, precious Bella and we’ll be there before te know it,” Aro said.
    I nodded and laid my head in his chest as he made his way to Forks.
