“Don’t worry Mom, I Amore you,” I detto as I kissed my beautiful mother’s forehead. I was so blessed; I had the most stunning family in the whole world, never mind neighborhood! I have gorgeous parents, Edward and Bella Cullen, Grandpa Carlisle and Grandma Esme, Aunt Alice and Uncle Jasper, and Aunt Rosalie and Uncle Emmett. They’re Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. too, of course, but still amazingly attractive. My family is different from most; we’re a family, not a coven, and we only drink the blood of animals. A ‘vegetarian’ family te could say.
I was conceived da my vampire father, and then-human mother, who carried me while still human. I was such a strong child that my birth broke her spine and almost killed her, though my father injected his own pure venom into her cuore and welcomed her to a whole new life as vampire Bella. So I’m a attraversare, croce breed; half human and half vampire, and ehave only been alive for five years. However, we half-breeds grow incredibly fast, and I have mastered college degrees already, and grown to the psyche of a sixteen anno old girl. In two years, on my seventh o ‘eighteenth’ birthday, I will become fully immortal and Frozen forever like the rest of my family. Well, if te can’t beat them, unisciti them!
So today is my first giorno of high school and I’m panicking. Although I look the part, I feel sick with nerves. What if they don’t like me? What if I’m too clever? I asked myself. I tried to keep the conversation light, as I wasn’t in the mood for anything too insightful.
“Well, Mom, how do I look?” I quizzed as I combed my already straight hair and smoothed out my dress. This morning, my Aunt Alice had helped me to get ready. She was really into fashion and came into my room very early to make sure I looked the part. Of course, I’m already a very pretty girl, with my pale, silky skin, long caramello hair to my waist, tall, slim figure, and dark, Cioccolato coloured eyes. Although, whenever there is a big occasion, Alice likes to dress us all up. Today she had put me in a slash-necked, turquoise chiffon dress, which went in tightly at the waist and billowed out to just a few inches above the knee. It looked great against my ‘cream and roses’ skin. I had also been put into high, suede ‘Jimmy Choo’ heels, and had my hair done. Alice had recently invested in some GHD hair straightners, and had spent most of her time this morning straightening my naturally curly hair, clipping the rest back in an aqua farfalla grip. I had a new school bag too, and it all looked perfect together.
“You look beautiful, as always. I Amore that dress on te though, it makes te look absolutely fantastic. Alice?” my mother smiled at me.
“Of course! She’s been running round like a lunatic this morning just trying to straighten my hair!”
After having a glass of water to wash away the nerves, I had gone upstairs to finish packing. Just as I was applying my lip gloss and putting my last school text book in my bag, my phone buzzed. I checked caller ID. Jacob. As in Jacob; my very best friend in the whole world.
“Hey Jake! How are you?” I couldn’t help smiling into the phone; Jacob often has such a calming affect on me.
“Hey, Nessie. I’m good thanks. Listen, do te want a lift home from school today?” he asked.
“As in a ride home on your Harley o a ride home on your lupo back?” I laughed.
My darling best friend Jacob is also a attraversare, croce breed. However, Jake is a werewolf, o più technically, a shape shifter.
“As in on my bike. I thought maybe we could ride out into the deepest part of the forest, to the trail edge, and go hunting. Then maybe we could come back to mine and chill out for the night?”
“Sure, sounds great. Later, Jake.” I said, and hung up. I was busy, and going to be late if I didn’t sposta fast. I leaped down the stairs, and found my father at the foot.
“Hey Dad,” I smiled as I embraced him. He smiled back his crooked smile and looked me up and down.
“Amazing, as usual. My little girl, all grown up!” he detto cheerfully, but his eyes looked sad.
“I know Dad. But look, I have to go now; Mum’s waiting in the car. I’ll see te later. I Amore you.” I detto as I turned to go.
“Wait, Renesmee. I expect you’re going out after school with Jacob? Hunting, I presume?” he asked.
My father has a gift. Actually, a few of us Cullen’s do. With just the touch of my hands, I can place my thoughts into peoples heads, my father can pick out those thoughts just as easily with his mind Leggere skills, my mother has a protective shield, which she can expand to protect those around her from those who use the powers of their mind, Aunt Alice can see uncannily accurate visions of the future, though not when Jake and I are around, as we attraversare, croce breeds cause havoc with her sight, and Uncle Jasper has the power to tamper with peoples moods.
“Yes dad. Now, I must go. Bye,” I shouted as I ran for the door.
“Bye darling. Have a great day. Amore you,” my father shouted after me.
Once outside, I ran to the garage. My mother was already there in her wonderful Ferrari, waiting patiently. We drove in silence until we pulled into Forks High.
“You’re going to Amore high school honey. It’s great. Just relax, and have fun,” my mother told me. da now, everyone’s eyes were on us. It was to be expected, as we were in an extremely posh car, and both exceptionally good looking. My dearest mom squeezed my hand.
“Go get them, gorgeous. I Amore you,” she whispered.
“More than my own life,” I replied.
Mom laughed, blew me a kiss, and then reversed away. People were blatantly staring now.
There were whispers, which people didn’t know I could hear; “That’s Renesmee Cullen. Her Grandfather is the superiore, in alto doctor here.” “She’s so pale!” “Oh my God; she’s so hot!”
I laughed, calming myself, and stalked into school.
On my way in, boys lupo whistled whilst their mouths hung open, and girls stared at me with envious eyes. I had to restrain myself from laughing.
One girl; a pretty, junior student with short blonde hair and bright blue eyes came right up to me and said; “You’re Renesmee Cullen, right?” I nodded.
“Oh my gosh. te really are superiorly stunning! I’m Tauri da the way, Tauri Newton, and I’m in your successivo class, which I think is English Lit. Want me to mostra te around?”
“Sure,” I say, exasperated. Tauri smiled back at me, and we walked to class together chatting idly, getting introduced to new people all along the way. The giorno passes surprisingly quickly when te have a new bunch of Friends to chat with.
When the end of giorno campana, bell rang, I felt great. I went into the parking lot to find my Jacob waiting; looking cool in his black shades, bare, muscled chest, and baggy shorts. He was on his Harley, grinning like an idiot and holding out a silver helmet. I grinned back, ran over to him and kissed him swiftly on the cheek.
“For me then?” I asked as I reached out for the helmet.
“Yeah. So, how was school? Meet anyone?”
“Ohmigod, yeah it was good thanks. Much better than I expected. I met a girl called Tauri, and got to hang around with her mates too.”
“Tauri, huh?” Jake says casually, but I can’t help noticing a flash of something in his nice, dark eyes.

The rest of the way was fun, and we got to the trail-head quickly. We disembarked from the bike carefully, and then raced each other into the vegetation. Jake went into the bushes to phase, so I just ran in circles, letting the wind whip through my hair. When he came back, my smile returned. My lupo man, Jacob. We ran further into the greenery until I suddenly stopped dead still. Seven frantic, pounding hearts near the stream in the distance, their tangy, nut like aroma wafting over and making my throat burn dully. Jake caught the scent too, as he smiled down at me.
“Seven elk. Four da the stream, three near the trees I think. te coming?” I shouted as I raced off. He howled in a strange way that I can only guess was laughter, then ran after me; paws thudding quietly.
Soon, we were there. I climbed up a albero and pounced on the largest, holding it beneath my strong hands and snapped its neck with my razor teeth. The warm, wet blood on my tongue tasted wonderful, and before long my elk was drained and my thirst quenched.
Jacob had taken down two smaller elk, and was cleaning off in the shallow stream. I waited as he went off to phase back, and when he returned he sat beside me.
“Nessie, I need to talk to te about something very important.” Jacob said.
“What is it, Jake?”
“Well, this is very difficult for me to tell you. However when you-“
A long, demanding howl in the distance interrupted him.
“Carry on Jake.”
“I can’t. I’ll have to do it later? Will te be okay running home?”
“Why?”
“Wolf business,” he sighed.
I sighed too.
