*Edward’s pov*

I heard a knock from the door.
“Can I come in?” Alice asked.
I took a deep breath.
“Sure. “ I said.
Alice opened the door. Her face was expressionless. She sat beside me.
“How are you?” she asked.
“Not so good, “I whispered.
“I’m sorry.” She said, sadly.
“I told you, te don’t have to blame yourself. It’s not your fault.” I told her.
“It’s not yours, either.” She said
“Yes. it is.” I muttered.
“So are te going to tell me what happened? o I’m going to guess?” she asked.
“Do te know Ashley Walker?” I asked her.
“Nope.”
“Well, she’s my high school best friend when I was still human at Chicago.” I started.
“And?” she asked.
“She was also a victim of the disease. I thought she died first because she didn’t mostra up since Carlisle changed me. I wanted to find her but I was told da her mother that she had died.” I said.
“So,” Alice waited.
“I saw her. She’s alive. She told me that she was also bitten da a vampire. At first, I didn’t believe her until she showed me the scar. Ashley’s parents were my father’s best friend. Our parents wanted us to be together and they even made an arranged marriage. Like Tanya, Ashley showed some interest to me. But I didn’t mostra her any. Bella was the only one who has caught my heart. She was the only reason for my existence. “I stopped and took a deep breath.
“A few moments ago, Ashley showed up. I was shocked so I froze, I didn’t realize that she was baciare me. I can’t sposta my body because I was really dazed. But I really don’t want to baciare her. Unfortunately, Bella saw us. She thought that I betrayed her. But she’s thinking the wrong way Alice. She’s thinking the wrong way!” I detto as my hands balled into fists.
She touched my shoulder, comforting.
“Thanks so much Alice.” I told her.
She went out the room and leaved me alone so I can rest.
I looked back at the places where Bella usually stay. I’ve decided to went downstairs to the living room because I want to seek some advices from Esme.
Everyone was looking at me.
All of a sudden, Carlisle’s phone buzzed.
“Hello?” he asked.
We waited and then he shouted.
“What?! Okay, were coming. Thank you.” He detto as he ended the call...
“What happened, Carlisle?” I asked.
He looked at me.
‘Jacob called me, Bella had just fainted.’ He thought.
“What?! How could that be?” I asked.
‘I don’t know either, let’s go.’ He thought as he went out the door.
I was about to follow him but then Alice spoke.
“I’ll come with you.” She said.
I nodded.
“How about us?” Emmett asked, he’s thinking of a fight.
“Don’t worry Emmett; it’s not about a war.” I detto as I went outside.
I drove quickly. We reached Charlie’s house immediately.
We entered Bella’s room. I saw her on the letto with Jacob sitting beside her.
“Bella?” I asked as I shook her slowly. I sat at her side.
“What happened to her?” Alice asked.
“I don’t know. She called my name and when I looked back at her, she fainted.” Jacob detto worriedly.
“How could that be Carlisle? Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. don’t faint and they don’t even felt dizzy.” Alice said.
“Well I guess, it’s not about her Vampiric nature.” Carlisle said.
“What do te mean? I asked.
“We all know that she’s physically strong. Even stronger than Emmett. But Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. do have their weaknesses, Edward. Like me, my weakness was Esme, Alice’s weakness was Jasper, Rosalie’s weakness was Emmett and Bella’s weakness was… you. Yes, she is physically strong, but she’s emotionally weak. Do te remember when te thought that she’s dead? te went to Italy to provoke the Volturi to kill te without even having a secondo thought. You’re out of your mind. All te wanted was to be with her and to make her happy because your weakness was Bella. It’s the same thing. When she thought that te don’t Amore her anymore, it broke her cuore so much. Like I said, her weakness was you; she doesn’t want to be hurt da you, and to see te being hurt. That’s why she left you. Because she thought that it will make te feel happier to be with that girl, whoever she is, though it really hurt her so much.” Carlisle explained.
I stared at Bella’s face.
Jacob suddenly spoke.
“How can te do that to her?” he asked me.
I didn’t respond.
“I thought te Amore her.” He said.
“I do.” I told him.
“But why?” he asked.
“I don’t know. I really don’t want to do this to her.” I detto as I took a deep breath.
“But – “Jacob was about to speak when Alice cut him off.
“Enough. Edward, I think te better go out. She’ll be awake in less than 5 minutes. She doesn’t want to see you.” She detto sadly.
I kissed Bella’s forehead. And I walked away. I stopped at the door and looked back to her. I sighed and continued to walk.
“I wanted to talk to her, alone. please.” Alice told Jacob.
“Sure” he detto as he went out with Carlisle.
