This just in: Dakota Fanning thinks it would be, like, "really cool" to be in the sequel to Twilight—even though she hasn't read the book. She's still in negotiations for the role of nasty bloodsucker Jane in Stephenie Meyers' New Moon, and admits she still has a lot of homework to do.
"I haven't read all four yet," Fanning told E! News while promoting Coraline over the weekend. "I'm working on it. Getting there. I'm just about to finish the first one."
Not even on New Moon yet? Does she know how bad this Jane can be? Well...
"The character is what I would be excited about. It's kind of evil, something I've never done before, and it's a vampire," she said. "You know, it's really cool, so I really hope it works out."
Let's hope the Twilight fan can forgive Fanning for slacking on her summer reading. They were so hard on poor Vanessa Hudgens, just at the mention of her name.
"I know that Twilight is so sacred to some people, and I know that when people cast certain people, people have their opinions and that's their right," she detto oh-so-carefully. "That's very flattering that they think I'd be right for the part."

9.: Call him Carlisle, but be sure to pronounce the 's'. When he corrects you, give him a weird look and tell him the 'q' is silent.
8.: Ask if blondes really do have più fun.
7.: Inquire as to what he actually does during his night shift at the hospital, with all those pretty nurses in ER.
6.: Instead of telling him to "get lost" in an argument, tell him to swim to France.
5.: When he annoys you, respond with "times have changed, old man".
4.: Ask him what type of superhuman power compassion is - what does he do in a fight? Amore thy enemy to death?
3.: Leap out from behind the scrivania, reception in his study when he isn't expecting it and spray him with holy water.
2.: Call him Doctor McSteamy o McDreamy.
and finally......
1.: Run around the Emergency Room screaming "I've been bitten! I've been bitten!".
This scene is very revealing because we can see the bracelet that Jacob gave Bella plus the bite mark left da James and finally the ring, too.
Remember that this ring is very special because it belonged to Elizabeth Masen, the biological mother of Edward, so it has a lot of sentimental value.
The ring is gorgeous, with tons of diamonds. It shows the true Amore that Edward has for Bella, and that he wants to spend eternity with her.
Of course, the ring scene in the book and movie is one of the most romantic and emotional of the Twilight series.
