I was walking in the woods, when Renesmee suddenly appeared. She wrapped her arms around me, and cried. I stroked her hair. Then I realized she was wearing the clothes she wore when her cuore disappeared. She looked at me.

Renesmee had aged dramatically in the first two years of her life. da the time she was two, she looked twelve, so then suddenly, she began growing so much slower. Like a normal human. Carlisle was astounded, to say the least.
